It is literally the first triple changer toy based on a live action movie transformer Anyone has made yet, hasbro and tripple parties included, that hasnt either left one of the 3 modes out (pretty much all hasbro-made Drift toys for example) or just had to make some rather atrocious compromises to get 3 modes out of it (one of the 3rd party drift toys Tries to get him a robot, car and helicopter mode but the last one is more like flipping and folding him vaugely into the rough shape of what might be a helicopter but only if you squint) so really on all fronts this thing is a first of its kind.

I'm genuinely impressed with how well they pulled off a movie triple changer. Way more successful than Metagate's Drift, whose helicopter mode _really_ didn't work, even with all the bits hanging off her car mode.

I just got mine and i know where to put her gun for the jet mode to have a thruster. It goes under the black part that forms the tail and has to go between her feet. There is enough space for the long flat part of the gun to slide in. Once you notice it's easy to do

I can't wait to get mine in hand, it can't arrive fast enough. Metagate's starting to give me huge Unique Toys vibes with how they engineer their transformations and I'm sooo looking forward to their Dropkick if/when it's announced. Edit: Yeah, it's the figure of the year for me. That transformation blows me away with how simple and effective it is and the paintwork is top notch.

Shatter is absolutely one of the best Decepticon characters in recent media. Probably the best in the movies. I don't do movie MPs, but she's real tempting. The engineering is amazing. That her arms become part of the cockpit isn't something I'd ever have expected, but it's genius.

We went from a drift with near-perfect robot and car modes but a…rough helicopter mode, to a shatter with a great robot mode and pretty good car and jet modes. Very good progress

I usually don't go after figures that are basically Masterpiece scaled but for this Shatter, and hopefully Dropkick, I'd definitely make an exception. Absolutely loved them in Bumblebee and to finally have full triple changing versions is a freaking dream come true.

Just got mine 2 days back & oh my...thank goodness for JTI by Emgo..you sure makes the transformation of the 3rd party 'manageable' bro. I couldn't understand nuts when it comes to the instruction manual that's provided for fear snapping some parts of. So far Metagate has proven to me based on Emgo's review to be a reliable 3rd party transformers toy maker. I couldn't thank enough as I've got 3 figures now after watching Emgo's review. Keep it up bro..I'm rooting for you 👍🏻 & now patiently waiting for Metagate's not Dropkick to come out & be reviewed.

I dropped $160 for this “Red Fantasy” I also think it’s way better than hasbros official version and they didn’t even bothering making a triple changer just separating the alto modes to 2 separate versions of shatter

How any person can look at the movie, see a giant robot with just car bits and jet bits hanging off it, and going "yeah, I can make that work!," is amazing! It's one thing to create a CGI model, you have lots of cheats in movie editing 😂 but to make a functional toy that does all the modes even half as well as it does the robot mode is just madness! She looks remarkable in robot mode! This isn't black magic, it's forbidden blood magic, it's that awesome!!

Great review mate!! Got mine 2 days ago. She looks and feels amazing. I managed to tranform her a few times now. Glad to have your step by step transformation to follow, makes it a bit more manageable. And also have not found a way to include the arm cannon in jetmode.. hope somebody can find a way to store it tho.

This figure is awesome! In my opinion, the transformation couldn't be better, regarding the fact that it is a freakin' triple changer. My only wish will be for the Intec supercharger to be fully chrome and shiny and the red paint part to be more shiny and smooth.

Also, the only one of Shatter and Dropkick I remember having missiles was Dropkick. I mean I can still hear that one that races towards the dumpsters that Charlie was in before she notices the missile, says "Oh sh**!" and then the missile hits both of them and knocks them over!

The proportions, shape and the overall design are insanely accurate. Metagate knocked this thing out of the park for this one. Considering how difficult it is to incorporate triple-changing feature into figure and, that even at Masterpiece scale is already a feat of its own. I love how they designed it such that Jet mode is seemingly bigger than its Car mode..... Like which genius came up with this? Although what bothers me is that the color pallette could have more 'red' in my opinion and that alternate modes look wonky at different angles. But I suppose that nothing can be perfect. Makes me wonder they'll do with Dropkick. :)

I wonder why there isn't really any more new triple changes, people keep redoing the old G1 tripper changer and not much new ones. Some attempts were made but it hardly really triple changing. Finally an actual triple changer Shatter! way better then that Drift which had a supposed to be helicopter mode which is also part forming or the spider girl that transform into a helicopter with part forming spider mode.. Really cool and all the modes can pass as what it is and totally no part forming either! I really like it! Only issue I have with it is the price!

Mine got delivered today, just finished transforming and posing her and man........ i am SUPER impressed with this thing. She looks incredible in my display. Now i need a Decepticon buddy for her that's about the same height because this figure is super tall xD. I have, WFC Megatron, MPM scale DOTM Soundwave and MPM 2007 Barricade in the evil side of my display, and they are very short compared to Shatter😂

I've connected the top forearm of the hand cannon to the black peg that comes out of her thighs in jet mode. Unfortunately, it shows the hollow side outward. I wish you could put it above the feet to make a booster for sure.

So, I'm going to put this here, Shatter's alt mode (the Hawker Harrier) does NOT have the afterburner like you thought the arm cannon storage would be it's thrust comes out four nozzles under the wings so it can Hover, short take off, the fancy stuff only a small handful of aircraft can do

I think didn't is more accurate. They gave us 2 mainline deluxes, neither of which even attempted to triple change due to the scale and price. This on the other hand is a take on a triple changing mp scale Shatter

My biggest problem with the car mode is that the proportions are way off, the front looks short and stubby and should be longer than the back, or either its the back thats too big and long i cant really tell. Ever sinced i noticed i cant unsee it

I just go my copy: but there is no white paint at all, only grey. (The red paint seems normal.) And no yellow detail paint. Are there any versions like this, or is mine a production error? Anyone know? Much appreciated.

The white is only on the first run and the grey is more screen accurate anyway. Starting the second run all figures are light grey at parts instead of white

What a fantastic review. It looks like you've had hardly any problems with it. I've seen others who call it a nightmare transformation. All three modes look amazing, if I could afford this, I'd love to get one. I notice that it is G-05, what others have they produced? The only other one I know of from them is their version of Drift, with the car and helicopter mode.

Blue Drift, Bludgeon Drift, White Drift, and Terrorsaur. There's also a Red variant of Blue Drift. Additionally, they have another M line that has the different flavours of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

I guess it works impressively well for a triple changer. I've personally tried to design 2 and Transformation is such a pain becuz I neded g1 cartoon styled limbs, if that caused me so much so live action stylings would be much, much harder to design.
