I am literally about to go out the garden and build a 10ft by 8ft one of these right now. I will say that you should strip the plastic wrap from the parts days before you do the build, because it takes a very long time (3 and half hours for me solo). I'm going to build the shed on my own. Have made simple scaffold pieces from spare timber with magnets to hold the walls in place. Looks like the issue I'll have is holding the nuts on the back side of the wall. Why they don't use a socket to hold the nuts in the vid I don't know lol

Is the slightly raised OSB boards sufficient to prevent condensation inside the shed due to the concrete underneath being wet, presumably not having a Damp Proof Membrane underneath? Also worth pointing out that the base should be sealed along the bottom (before fixing to the concrete) to prevent water seeping in at the bottom

Thanks for the tutorial, much better than the silent one with the canned folk music. I like the way you used the needle noses to hold the nut. If only someone would invent a tool specifically for that purpose...... A sort of screwdriver for nuts or "nut-driver" (for lack of a better word) 😅

How do the shed walls fix to the bottom of the body? I have the small shed with log storage and I don't know how the side panels attach to the bottom
@stoney2688 ай бұрын
anyone else had issues with the back and side wall panels? Each panel has like a flat edge and a cornered edge so the one can overlap the other and prevent water coming in. There is no other way to mount them on the base frame bc of the predrilled holes. So now the back side has flat edges on both back panels, and the side panels both have cornered edges. For the side panels it doesnt matter but for the back you now have to connect 2 panels on that flat edge and thus water can come in. its just stupid!

@iLikeSheds3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for your comment. As long as the concrete base is flat and level, you would be able to put a wooden base on the concrete. We would recommend that the wood is on bearers to elevate the base slightly and allow airflow underneath to prevent issues with rot or mould in the wood. We hope this helps - N

Thanks for the video it helped me a lot because the instructions in the carton or not clear. The problem is the product I think they could do it much simple and they should for example assemble the door already in the factory. The edges are very sharp and you cannot have the gloves always because you don’t feel the little pieces ( screws and other little parts) in your hands and with your fingers. If I knew I would buy the same thing but in wood maybe or another ecological material because it this product is using very poor materials and too difficult to assemble.

Interesting fact about this shed, remember the story of the 3 little pigs? it was actually meant to be the 4 Little Pigs, but the 4th younger pig built his house using one of these cheap Chinese sheds and the the wolf had him eaten before he had it assembled, obviously not suitable for children so they cut the story to the 3 Little Pigs, not to the mention the part about the wolf farting and blowing what the misfortune of a pig had managed to assembly a mile down the road leaving a large gaping hole in Little Red Riding Hood's head.

If what you say is true, is that really enough for such an atrocity? Maybe his license and privileges should be taken away and forced to pay restitution to everyone he has harmed.; his children and children's children should be shunned by society and must agree to verbally rebuke him to even purchase basic necessities. The headstones of his ancestors should be removed and their grave plots left unattended to. We should also forbid his name to be uttered and place a prohibition on giving an infant the name. Those that presently share the name shall be given new identity and if the name is insinuated the speaker shall follow up by spitting. That enough?
