4:00AM is the other track that didn't make the cut for Nightmare but it's one of the best songs on their imo, one of the most unique and most underrated songs in A7X's catalog, should definitely check that one out

iTunes for sure. Lost It All and St. James were both iTunes exclusive bonus tracks for Nightmare and HTTK.

It was released on iTunes as a deluxe version of the Nightmare album and for the Japanese market. Why they made that decision is a mystery to me. xD

If people haven't had you do an album listen of it yet, there's actually a whole b-sides album called Diamonds in the Rough that came with the Live in the LBC DVD. Since Avenged Sevenfold released it on streaming services for the first time this year, they added this song and a few other deep cuts that weren't on the original disc. You're going to love Diamonds in the Rough. It has some great covers and alternate versions of songs as well as tracks that didn't make City of Evil and the self-titled.

To be fair, when I bought the album right as it came out this was included as a bonus track. Idk if it was a specific digital version or what but it was there. Another brilliant song that didn’t make the nightmare album is called 4am. I think you’d really enjoy that as well. Would love to see your reaction to it.

Metal Biker Dude, now that you've come so far with Avenged Sevenfold, I think it's time we get you into one of their contemporaries; a band called Trivium from Orlando, Florida. They formed in 1999 the same as Avenged Sevenfold, and were another monumental part of the mainstream generation of Metalcore, leading up to the overall New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Their albums Ascendancy, The Crusade, and Shogun are widely considered to be among the top metal albums released in the 2000s, and you should 100% give them a chance. If you love Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance, and I know you do, you'll love Matt Heafy and Corey Beaulieu. If you love Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, and I know you do, you'll love Travis Smith. If you love Johnny Christ, and I know you do, Paolo Gregoletto will blow your mind. I'd like to recommend Trivium tracks from each album I mentioned for reactions to give you a taste of how great they are: From Ascendancy, the song is A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation. From The Crusade, the song is Becoming the Dragon. From Shogun, the song is Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis. Trivium have everything you could want in a metal band, and I think you'll find them incredible. Shogun is my absolute favorite album by Trivium, and if you choose to check them out, Shogun is the progressive thrash metalcore album you've always needed. Studio versions fully recommended for maximum effect. I give you my word that Trivium will be just as refreshing as A7X, and A7X are my favorite band.

I think it didn’t make the cut mainly just because it didn’t fit the vibe they were going for, this song was included as a bonus track on some of the editions of the album. Anyway it’s a fuckin great track that’s forsure.
