Loved your reaction. The song is actually from 2003, NOFX are really talented musicians for punk rock standards.

El Hefe (lead guitarist) is such a bad ass guitar AND trumpet playe… you should do “stickin in my eye” or “American errorist”…. This album came out in 2003, NOFX have been around since like the 80s

You are totally right even if you're not the biggest fan of the genre this is how it's meant to be and NoFx has that touch for their own sound within the genre with all of the great the punk bands. To add on to that I will say this...Reggae, Punk, Metal, Hip-Hop are all raw music in their essence with the same kind of message. We all have the same problems with the life imposed to us doesn't matter the differences. We are all rebels because we have to. We are all one and should not let ourselves be divided. Yes I!

Always nice to see a new baffled NOFX listener. You can actually hear them getting better over their many years active. Subscribed. There is an official video for their song "Cokie the Clown", which encapsulates their chaotic nature. I think it would make for a hilarious review!
@giovannitigalo701111 ай бұрын
You're right about the guitar part, it's pretty difficult to play, at least as far as punk songs go. This is one of their most technically impressive songs for sure
@ev1lsm1th2 жыл бұрын
Your Lemmy relation are on point. Everyone in punk knows that two things are gospel: Dolly is a queen and Lemmy is a god.
@domtipp34253 жыл бұрын
Loved it mate! Metal head here and a punk rocker - NOFX is awesome, they have there own flavour ... If a band has lasted almost 40 years - usually there is something distinct about them. Attitude, lyrical content, short solo's (or else you are playing metal), fast/almost chaotic (maybe not the right word). Your review, way on point for the outro - one of there better ones, motorhead was kind of punky - (know allot of people hate that being said - the punk think -oh and sad to say was!) brilliant band, brilliant track and brilliant review!
@Kinuhbud2 жыл бұрын
whoa very apt observation about the motorhead vibe at the beginning. I've never thought to compare the two bands. love 'em both.

@YMDBass or Propaghandi. Starting with the album "supporting caste" this band bridged the gap between prog metal and punk. Sounds weird but just listen...
@onsesejoo26053 жыл бұрын
First time hearing this band, the tempo is indeed very Mötörhead. Bit weird to hear a punk band having less distortion than The Ace Of Spades, for example. :)

Nice! Great reaction and break down. NOFX is one of those bands where everyone in the band is amazing. They are like the five best musicians you’ve heard started a punk band. Also, lyrics are on point. Back in the day when you went to a punk or metal show, you might get hurt, you might get high, who the fuck knows, but it was fun. Please more NOFX. I would recommend “We march to the beat of indifferent drum.”
