For people wandering, this version of the astrea is basically celestial being's test mobile suit where pretty much all of it's armaments were developed into the weapons of the gundams that we see in the series, the most notable ones are the GN proto sword that became Exia's GN sword and the GN proto laucher that became the throne eins GN mega launcher.

TBH bandai literally has everything to gain if they made an HG exia revive, the exia has like 5 different form not even counting color variants and trans am that they can milk as well as the astrea and its many other variants.

There's also an options kit that adds a bunch of extra shields to make a flight form and the avalanche parts, but its only had a limited run so it's often more expensive than the figure

The visor on the Type F is amazing as hell honestly. BUT as someone who has both, this definitely has its charm with its gimmicks and big cannon. Both to me are now among my favorite and I am looking forward to that Type X coming out as well.

@@thespikeheadboy3164 from what I understood based on the talk. It is meant to be used by the Innovades. Which explaines the reason they use the GN Shield on the GN-X as well as the more sinister appearance. Technically, all Gundams are Black Ops as even Exia has optical camo.

Will say: from what I've been looking up to see if the new p-bandai astraea is worth it or not, the metal build Astraea and Exia (Which uses the same frame) both seem to loosen up faster than other metal builds. From what I've read, tightening the joints of metal builds isn't exactly easy either so something to keep in mind. That having been said god I need the Type-X

Yeah, the joints on my MB Exia are very loose now. I’ve tried tightening them which has helped a little but they are still fairy loose. It’s a pity because I love the look of the Exia metal build.

I hope MG exia 2.0 because the recent 00 releases, but bandai released a MG exia repair III. So 2.0 might not come until 2023 or later

@@panzershuriken6590 Yes dynames, kyrios and virtue all using the same frame so exia 2.0 going be the same. What I meant is last year bandai released a MG exia repair III by recycling the old frame. That might lead to more milking of the old frame before selling the new one.

@@GojiraFan-in9oo It's a prototype of Ein's GN Launcher. CB decided to scrap it because of stability issues and its lengthy recharge time. Ribbons and Alejandro repurposed it for the Eins, and solved the recharge time issues by having Eins link up with Zwei and Drei.

I was literally JUST looking online trying to find some good Astraea kits as I love the design so much more than the Exia, and then I saw you uploaded this. I usually only ever buy MG kits, but since the Astraea doesn't have one I've been looking for the old NG 1/100 kits, but I can't decide between the Astraea or the Type F. Mecha, do you or anyone else know where I could possibly find one? I know there are the RG kits but they are expensive and would look odd with all my other kits being MGs, and I don't know how I feel about the bootleg MG kits. Any help or advice to find one at a reasonable price would be awesome. Keep up the good work.

It really depends. I bought this from media world in akihabara through buyee. They're an actual shop so they only add a bit of a charge on (700 yen) to the retail price instead of doubling/tripling it like scalpers do. Then buyee add their service fee of 300 yen. Shipping in the end cost me a bit more because I had it added to a package with the MG V 2 gundam and chose the most expensive/fastest option which was EMS which came to 5,500 yen. Usually I go with airmail which would have been closer to 2500 yen. So that would have been 12500 yen by the cheapest shipping (still fast btw, usually a week) for a total of €73/$80. Cheapest I can find on ebay is $149 shipped, and I can't find it on amazon at all at the moment. It really is a bit of a case by case situation, and sometimes a bit of a treasure hunt, but usually I find it cheaper for rarer collectables. Regular kits are usually cheaper from HLJ or your local official stockist, IF you can find them in stock. But if you're like me and you want what you want RIGHT NOW (or at a reasonable price post release), then Buyee is the way to go as everything is currently in stock besides the odd preorder on there. Probably the biggest endorsement for BUYEE, and it's a huge one, is the fact that it's the ONLY place that sponsors the channel that my wife shops from. And she shops from there a LOT! edit: yeah you might now want to buy from ali express unless you're buying kits from actual Chinese brands
