There are many things to cut metal while making works. It's hard to cut it with a ruler every time, so I wanted to make a metal cutting station like a woodworking Miter saw station. While I was making it, I also made a shelf on the top of the wall where I could put long boards, It's become a blockbuster to fill one side of the wall. The board stopper was also made pretty using magnetic base, and I think it will be very helpful to organize the metal workroom by making 30 drawers at the bottom. This video is a bit long because it was made over three weeks, but I think you can enjoy it because you can see so many skills. Now, metal materials are as comfortable as wood and can be cut as long as you want. It's my own metal cutting saw station that will be used in many works. Please enjoy watching it and subscribe and like it. Thank you.

I envy old workshops that show signs of decades of use. My workshop is neat and tidy because it was built in the last few years. I put a lot of effort into keeping it neat, but it takes time to let the signs of time show. I will try harder. thank you

This work took almost two weeks to create. As you said, it is made by combining wood, profile and metal materials. I'm so grateful to have someone who understands other people's passion. Thanks to you, I get the energy to start another piece of work. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.

First time I’ve seen a work bench with lighted pin striping, excellent. One small criticism, when attaching your drawer fronts, use double sided tape instead of brad nails for aesthetics. And wago connectors for wiring.

Thank you for your compliments and concerns. Actually, I purchased an argon welder for this project. Still, the welding looks very clumsy. I wasn't able to capture it in the video, but I used an arc welder that I used in the past to sufficiently weld the parts that needed strength. I will always pay attention to safety. Thank you again.

Love the projects you make. I was watching your soldering, if you hold your iron on the back of the joint and let the wires heat up to temp and then come in with the solder on the opposite side, the solder will flow towards the iron due to the Marangoni effect and create a better bond, remove the solder and then quickly the iron. It didn't look like your iron was hot enough either, the solder was barely flowing, or your weren't allowing the wires to get up to temp. A little unsolicited advice you might find useful.

Your wood working skills are phenomenal but your welding, well it needs work. Just a hit from an old retired welding, never try to weld through red steel coating. Scuff with a sanding disc and wire brush.

Amazing work. However what do you do when you want to cut miters as its the fence on the saw that pivots. This project was truly amazing. Also the bosch cold saw seems to have the motor up higher than my Morse saw which looks like it has much higher cut capacity

@Kynosys_ Жыл бұрын

tig welding over paint? really???
@Kynosys_ Жыл бұрын
I purchased an argon welder for this project. I'm still a beginner. I just used the color square pipe I had, and the welding turned out better than I expected. Since I was going to paint it black anyway, I didn't pay much attention to minor issues. thank you
@TheMadJoker87 Жыл бұрын
@@Kynosys_ unlike mig or most other welding techniques, tig is extremely sensitive to the workpiece being painted, oiled or generally dirty, this will contaminate the puddle and make your welds have that black carbon around them and very bad penetration. its necessary that you strip any paint and rust before welding, and its common practice using acetone or another solvent to clean the work pieces from dirt and oil
