Metal Detecting a Creek ! Found silver with my Long-Range Locator!!

Headed out to an old ghost town and got permission to detect the creek and a couple of old houses. This ghost town was an old mining town since the mid 1800's. Used my locator for a while before the sun got to hot.. But it was amazing how my TFR-4 rod works finding silver in water, I really didn't expect it!.. Also, im barely learning my drone so hopefully in future videos i can have better footage.. thanks for watching my fellow treasure hunters and i hope you guys like my videos !! Have you used the aluminum colored " cache hunter" cap enough to decide if the results are worth the extra cost? Since you used the original cap at the golf course and the " cache hunter " cap on the stream hunt and found silver at both sites. Thanks!

Sandy Pocketz. Hey bud.. i really like the cache hunter cap.. i feel its got a stronger pull.. and further distance.. I think i would have hit that silver dollar at more than 100 ft.. But i was turning on and off the tfr just scanning certain parts of the creek... thanks!!

please know that many talented treasure hunters can go for decades without finding a silver dollar. congratulations! Was the silver dollar the only signal with the tfr4 or did it signal on the other finds?

Sandy Pocketz. Hello bud and thanks!! The TFR-4 does not pick up any other trash but silver and gold. Unless of course you place any other type of metal in the chamber.. I was only able to recover one sliver hit out of 5 hits.. I think this coin was brought down from the rainy season.

If you have a tfr why would you depend on your metaldetector (vlf) so much? Thats not too wise. I would only use it to pinpoint. Then use my tfr again to cut on scan time. Will you please answer that?

Raul Vargas. Hello Raul.. You have to understand that long-range equipment are used to cut scanning time with your regular detector.. The tfr rod will get you to the area of interest in a 5ft by 5ft radius.. This is when you use the regular conventional detector. Hope this answers your questions.. Thanks!
