What a cool location to detect around that plane! It's possible that tag found early in your hunt was off the aircraft - the rivets would corrode faster than the aluminum plate itself ... any update on the necklace? Looks very nice either way! Finally, what type / brand of dive knife do you generally use? Need one for cutting fishing line or in emergencies etc ... Thanks in advance and keep the awesome viddies coming!

How odd to find aluminum by a plane wreck! ROFL. But you're right, in a shallow dive spot there's bound to be lots of lost items from the tourists. And, as always, it's distressing how much inexcusable garbage you find. There's just too many thoughtless people out there. Nice necklace!

Good morning Nora. I hope you know about fishing with bait while you’re diving. Not a good idea to do any fishing. Sharks are attracted to noise, vibrations from live fish wiggling., blood and possibly urine. Love you, be safe. ❤

I once went and explored the Cannabliss cruiser. It was a drug boot that went down in 1982 . Marked with a buoy . In about a hundred foot of water. Mostly an open top but turns out it had never had its forward hold opened. It had 5 vacuum packed 40 lbs bags of columbian pot inside. We only took one out. Actually wrote a story about finding it a few years after which was published in High Times Magazine. We waited to keep the dive boat crew out of trouble.

2:27 LOL I'd been wondering why Nora wasn't using her metal-detector to treasure-hunt right here, but instead just looking with her eyes --- THEN I realized dat da detector would have merely "gone crazy" right near da aluminum plane-body, and so it wouldn't have been able to differentiate between just da massive bulk of da plane and any dropped metal objects buried in da sand around da plane --- duhhhhhh!!! :P :P :P P.S. Could you have set da detector's controls to not respond to aluminum in this case, Nora? My thought is dat most of the truly-valuable stuff dat you find isn't made of aluminum, anyway...?
