You don't come across a permission like that too often. I bet it still has a lot more to give you guys. Nice rock hard ground you are digging in. Same down here in North Atlanta. We got 14" of rain from Helene, but not a drop since. Nice warm November so far.
@MetalDetectingNWGAАй бұрын
Yeah, we were fortunate to get on this permission. As of right now, we've hunted most of the easy spots. Next, we're going to start cutting down the brush around the pool so that we can hunt that area as well. Its gonna take some work, but we know its loaded with silver too.

@@0006trance Hey thanks neighbor! I keep the 9” coil on there full time. To me, it’s the perfect coil size for 99% of the places I detect. It’s noticeably lighter than the 11”, while maintaining good coverage and improved maneuverability. Good separation and still plenty deep too. I prefer the 9” coil over the 11” on my Deus 2 as well.

why such a small coil for such a large place?

Mostly due to the lighter weight. My arm starts aching after a couple of hours when using the larger coils. I’m no spring chicken anymore. The 9” coil is just right for me. It’s lighter, easier to maneuver, decent coverage and still very deep.

Why does your Manticore sound like an annoying Simplex? Couldn't watch the whole video.
@MetalDetectingNWGA24 күн бұрын
I'm using the depth audio theme. It is VCO (voltage controlled oscillation), which means the closer the target is to the coil, the higher the pitch. It may sound a little different (or annoying) compared to the traditional conductivity driven Full Tones or Multi Tones that most people use, but it offers some real advantages on making tough targets really stand out and grab your attention. Takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of using it, it's great!
