It's a delight to see you again at the old settlement, much seems still to be discovered there. A welcome relief, with more to come, seems not as much relic hunting of late from the normally regularly productive producers allays the hunting fever, we itch to get out there and continue our own investigations of a lost and forgotten gold-rush and settlement of some 1,800 people, 1852-1855, now just farmland and outer urban parkland. On that, not unlike a smaller countryside town that had built only a little away from the diggings, but remained viable, despite rushes hither and thither nearby, and the dumps and camps become the civic open spaces we see them as these days. Cheers William!, and happy history hunting. Gabi of Narre Warren.

Hi Gabi glad you enjoyed the video it’s always good to hear someone enjoys watching 😅😄 Yes I’m not sure if there’s been a bit of a scare on relic hunting after this whole Victorian heritage saga (I assume you heard about it if you watched dig it detecting’s channel) it’s a bit ridiculous of them really but anyway

Hi Gary yes it’s been a great little spot I certainly can’t complain, some days are a bit more sparse but that’s the way it goes, I’ve been very fortunate to find some hotspots, I’m hanging out to find a token again but I think to date I’ve only ever found 2 at this site. Happy detecting 👍🏼👍🏼

Gday William. Good hunt mate. Gotta love a six inch coil. My favorite. There still seems to be so much still in the ground. Fun still to come for many an outing. Take care mate 😁👍

Love your videos! May I ask what’s kind of shovel/spade you use?

Hello, thankyou I’m glad you enjoy the videos :) This shovel started off its life as a cyclone post hole shovel, I cut it down so it digs a smaller stealthy hole and adjusted the angle that the handle comes out so it’s more upright and put my own metal handle on 😄👍🏼
