we moved here to drive trains, WA trains are slowly being taking over a lot by trucks, line closing in wheatbelt etc. This state is wonderful place, still getting the hang of detecting down this way and the people down here are so friendly and love to chat/ help you out. They tourist / migrant focused here and not farm focused like back home. Found a good old ghost town 70km up in the mountains, when the snow melts a bit will try it.

I am coming over to Tassie next year, do you think it's worth taking a detector with me to try my luck? I normally hunt for gold, but wouldn't mind finding some convict artifacts.
