Man that nut was nuts 😂. Who knows that bayonet might have broken in the midst of a skirmish. I wish we could touch items and the history comes to our minds. Cool finds.

I wish I could know how it ended up there. I actually think it may have been an old battlefield pickup that ended up there later on.

Some nice finds! Many military folks brought things home from service back in the day. Bayonets may've have many non military uses I guess? ATB from UK👍.

I actually wonder if this one was a Port Hudson battlefield pickup in the early 1900s and brought back to that house as a souvenir and discarded/lost later
