Your speech from 16:54-17:35 describes exactly what I think about every time I dig an old coin. People make fun of me all the time for spending hours upon hours digging in the dirt. I tell them "It's not about the coins-- it's about the history the coins represent. Every coin/artifact found represents a piece of our history, and I'm honored to rescue it from the Earth." It's speeches like yours that make your channel my all-time favorite. Please don't stop making videos. GL and HH.

Nice hunt guys. Super nice hammered coin in the USA...wow what can you say. Great GMI button, those are rare and also those flat buttons with the eagle on back. Looks like a good spot, just have to clean up the the place but I'm sure there more good finds lurking out there. Talk about counterfeit coins, found a 1853 2 1/2 Dollar gold piece several years ago in a CSA camp that was bogus... still neat. Good video Kurt.

I love your passion for this hobby Kurt, I feel just the same. I live in England and have been detecting now for 30 years. My latest permission is the site of a 16c battle between the English and the Scots. My first dig produced a small musket ball and a Elizabeth 1st sixpence dated 1564 and that is what prompted me to comment here as Bobby's hammered is of similar date. Keep the vids going, they're great. I look forward to them each week. Thank you!
