I really like the scripture verses you begin and end your videos with, sometimes they say exactly what I needed to hear from God. Rather like those Sundays when you may not feel like going to church but you force yourself to go anyway and it seems like the sermon was written just for you about your current situation and encourages you to persevere.

I have seen many videos of metal detecting and I just have to say, by far, yours is the very best ! Clear videos, interesting subjects, Great narration , and then you show what you have found for the day and also tell what they are ! I want to come with you ! Never been to a place like that before and have never metal detected . You ought to be a History Teacher

Your knowledge of the relics you find is very impressive. I would have no idea that was the tip of an old lightning rod, or the cap to an old flint pistol, or many of the other things you find. And your genuine passion for those things whether they're worth something monetarily or not always seems to be the same. Love the channel, and even as a "non-believer" (at least not someone who regularly reads the bible), I have the utmost respect for the message you send in your videos and how you represent yourself. Can't wait to see what you find in NH (my home state)!

The one item you skipped over is bent...but it is a seam guide used on an old sewing machine. It would have been screwed to the bed of the machine and the fabric would have been held up against the flat edge as it sat to the right of the needle. The size of the seam would be adjusted by where you put the guide before you tightened down the thumbscrew that held it in place.

Boy it sure is difficult finding any new videos from you. You were one of the first hunters I started watching and have enjoyed almost all of your videos. I am truly disappointed that I can't find anything from you. I had hoped when you went to diving school we would be seeing some underwater videos but was disappointed not to find anything. I loved your videos not just because you found interesting objects but because of the Bible verses you put at the beginning and ending of each video that means a lot to me.

I would very happily live in that big house yoy showed us at 4:35 Sir! As for the snow in April, it must have been a bit of a shock if you have come from somewhere hot in just a few hours. It is what some of us in the North of England (UK) used to call "nithering!" We once had snow in mid May though! Haha. However as always you are never downhearted about anything at least when you are with us and you are a real spiritual blessing. Blessings and peace as always Sir.

Those "hoses" are tubing for collecting maple sap in the spring to render into maple syrup. Real maple syrup is always made from the sap of maple trees and can sell for up to $60/gallon. The tubing is a huge labor saving method over the old spile and bucket method.

During WWI, in the trenches of France, some soldiers were issued Winchester Model 1897 riot shotguns. They were made with a 19-20 inch barrel, had a vented top strap over the barrel, an were equipped with a bayonet lug like a rifle. The issued ammo was the all brass shells loaded with double OO size buckshot. Paper case shells would swell when they got wet and would not chamber. At one time, I had some of the brass shells but gave them to a collector.

The sheriff's badge is from a vending machine . You can make your own. I found one of the machines while traveling. Printed out three badges one for myself one for each of two kids traveling on the bus . 1986 ' Sometimes see machines that crush pennies and print souvenir type theme on them. Oh and the Sailing Ship on the Canadian Dime is Still sailing ! The Famous Bluenose . You can see it in Lunenburg Nova Scotia Canada , The eastcoast. Cheers !
