Sifting For Valuables Inside The Burnt Down Mansion - Found Coins, Phones, Rifle and More!

Come along with me, as I sift through the remains of a million dollar mansion, which burnt down in August of 2018. The owners gave me permission to search through all the rubble, with hopes of discovering their valuables that were left in the home during the terrible fire. The fire started from a lightning strike that hit the house. Fire began to spread quickly through out the attic, and blazed down through the other floors. Several attempts to reach out to 911 were made, but the cell towers were also down from the thunder storm. After 2 hours of burning, the fire department was finally contacted and arrived at the scene. This was a very tragic loss to the family. Thank you for watching and Have a Merry Christmas!

Glad no one was injured in that fire. A shame to see such a house go along with its valuable personal things and mementos. I hope you can find some of their old coins and valuables for them.

Michael, be very careful in the remains of a home that old! Lead and arsenic were likely in the paint thus in all the ash. What a tragedy. Blessings!

My house burned about 5 years ago due to a bad electrical connection. It was bad, but not as bad as that house. We lost most of our possessions, be we we're lucky and able to salvage some sentimental items. The lesson for me was don't get too attached to your possessions.

I've been through two house fired in my life. It's insane how everything is scattered and destroyed on them. Of course the most important thing is everyone made it out safely. At least they will get a few material things back from the ash. Great video Nugget

Kind of ironic, that the fire starter/lighter you found in the kitchen didn’t work. They suffered such a loss. I noticed a wine collection off the kitchen. God love and help them. And may He protect you. Wear a mask! The stuff you’re shoveling is kicking up toxic dust!!

Merry Christmas!! Thank God everyone got out safely! I lost my big brother in a fire 3 years ago. Those burnt remains look just like his house. I was able to find some photo albums that barely survived. My sister-in-law was so happy to have them.

Theres a Victorian Mansion that was recently burnt down on purpose due to no money coming through. It was built in the 1800’s and was one of the oldest house in the town. Located in Somerset County New Jersey and served as a hotel, war base, hospital, home, base for Olympic team, and summer camp.

Ralph Duddles just look up fire lady’s island pleasant point SC. Even found it on google earth. Just look for the large house with a 300 foot long green house that housed that pool. Sad thing is the owners were remodeling the house after it sat empty for 10 years. On google earth it shows vans outside and under remodel. The home was a storied home.

I had a fire about four yrs. ago and for an hour after watching this, I could smell that smell and wanted to wash my hands of the ash and junk. Prayers and hope they had good insurance.

Goodness this brings back memories. I have experienced 2 total loss house fires. It's devastating! When they come in w the backhoe it mixes EVERYTHING. It should have been gone through before the backhoe was used unless they had to do it to get the fire out. This place is absolutely GUTTED! I do have a question, why were those showers put down so far in the ground. PRAISE THE LORD THERE WAS NO LOSS OF LIFE!

You should have asked Auqachigga to come and help you. Get him to bring his magnet to catch all you nails then hit it with the metal detector again. Make a big pile of metal and pile of brick and pile of dirt/ash. Great video and great thing your doing for the owners. Would be nice to have seen some pictures of what it use to be and what it is now.

You need Paratrooper boots to wear when working in stuff like this ! They have a steel plate in the sole to help keep your feet from getting nail and such poked into them !

Even better would be a pair of knee-high leather firefighter boots. They aren't too heavy and are very comfortable. That is what I wore when I was still on the job. (firefighter)

Good idea but the plate is only 1inch wide and runs up the center of the boot sole. It's to keep you're feet from getting broke if you land on bad terrain. I was 101st Airborne in the 90's I still keep a pair of jump boots in my closet

My heart breaks for these people - what a tragedy - you wonder if they'd had a fire-pump (as many rural properties down here have) with that great water supply on hand whether or not they couldn't have saved something or held the fire back. No amount of insurance is going to replace what they've lost - I do hope they can rebuild as the location is a prize one.
