Jim thanks for the sunrise at the wedge. My cousin and I used to go down there in the mid sixties to lose our swim fins and get sandpapered on the bottom. Just body surfing and not very good at it. Nobody believes the stories about the wedge if they have never been there.

I loved the wedge as a kid, now I prefer to spectate, Lol! Even metal detecting there can be dangerous.

Vasco Nuñez de Balboa, knowing the History of Balboa and you might understand why Sylvester Stallone used the name. Ironically Stallone was living here in SoCal when he wrote Rocky

And New Mexico doesn't allow detecting almost everywhere, I looked. I'm also from New Mexico with a nice lake 4 miles away but you can't detect it or any other state park. So I just have to satisfy myself with your videos. I had my mom's jewelry tested and one of the "diamonds" was actually a white topaz, which is my birthstone. The gal said they are more rare than diamonds are. Anyway, she had a gizmo that told her what the stones were and the quality. I thought that was interesting and wondered if you had one or knew about what device it is. Great finds and the surfing was fun to watch!

That ‘s a beautiful ring. Lost and found! I am sure that its precious to someone. Do you try to get it back with the owner?
@funwithjim3 жыл бұрын
I do return when I have the opportunity too, much easier to return items with dates or names but even then extremely difficult to locate owner. Ring Finders and our local guy "Surf City Ring Finder" usually handles the calls for lost items in our area, they know everything I find and will reach out if an identifiable items can be returned. Even then it is rare to return, most people who lose an item never report the loss. Thank you!
