Great finds, were you in north or South Wales mate? A lad down Pembrokeshire found a gold Saxon ring not too long ago. It’s now been handed over at Cardiff museum, incredible find.

@@TheDetectits I wish I could say I had but I am still very very new to detecting. I just bought an equinox 800 so I'm trying to learn it. And that's a big one to swallow for me. Around here where I live they have found Spanish shipwreck coins washing up on the beach and we have a lot of civil war history. I would love for you to come this way and do some detecting too. Let me know if you do make it in States and anywhere close to North Carolina.
