Like the Hori Hori with the plastic handle! I hunt those type of areas all the time with my Minelab SE Pro and have found that adjusting the Noise Cancel manually makes a big difference. You though seem to be not overwhelmed by the noise and have made some great finds! Love the vid!

Ohio Dirt Fisher Thank you very much. Places like this are our last hope in areas where every inch of soil has been already hunted several times. The Hori Hori knife is really great (the blade is very strong). I can recommend it to anyone. Have a great day and HH.

Hello, I've been binge watching your videos and have really enjoyed them. The ring really does appear to be an intaglio signet ring. Like you'd use to seal a letter in wax. Would be very interesting to see the image produced in wax. The item that caught my interest was that bronze disk memorializing the circumnavigation of the globe in a dirigible /Zepplin aka a blimp!!! I took some stills of its image and looked it up. Surprised no one asked about it or talked about it ( in the comments I read). Also, the way you detect/dig has made me think I may start using the left hand glove technique. Your procedure when extracting does not waste action / time. Lastly, seems ridiculous that people would unsub you for not talking on your videos. That's your thing. I have a hard time not spouting expletives every time I dig trash, especially that Ef'n foil!! Keep up the great work and please pass this along to you Assistants!! Will

Great hunt ! -this place is really productive . Unfortunately the EMI interference -but the relics you found show this place was untouched by humans at least since the 1940s .Also no modern aluminium garbage that is normally present everywhere. Awesome old key and thimble -i think the key could be medieval. 59:40 - OMG ! what a beautiful gold ring ! - WTG! Congrats and HH
@MetalDetecting2410 жыл бұрын
historyscanner Thank you very much. I was detecting on the other side (few days before this hunt). But I've been looking at this small, interesting area (from there). I was quietly hoping that it could be a small key, but I thought that it would be impossible, because it would have to be a "real old" one (and I'm still very sceptical when it comes to this area and "history" due to a long period of finds from around 1960). But something has changed this year... Have a nice evening & HH.

Don't you think that golden ring could be used to mark a wax seal or something beacuse of the low relief on the stone? Did you find what was that simbol? It looks like a coat of arms.

Bloody hell, I don't think I'd have dug that signal!.. Looks like a seal ring no?.. Maybe a researchable coat of arms Fantastic, well found!... That bronze disk is interesting too, what is it? Atb & Hh :-)

Iffy Signal Thank you. It looks like one. I will have to do a research. I think I was very lucky this time. Slightly different angle and I would probably keep walking. I was wondering today, about the amout of possible good targets I ignored in the past...Cheers and HH.

Super Video. Generell ihre Videos sind gut. Sie hatten vor dem XP einen Golden Mask. Ist der XP viel besser als ein GM. Oder reicht der GM? Danke.
@MetalDetecting249 жыл бұрын
79mostwanted Vielen Dank.

Hello from belorus!:) What knife or what is this you are digging with?
@MetalDetecting2410 жыл бұрын
Green Joy Hello. It is a Japanese gardening knife. It is called "Hori Hori". You can find it here for example: www.fine-tools.com/gartenjj.htm (I recommend only this one with the black, plastic handle). The other one is "not as good" (as you can see in my other video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZebhqRte6minaM).

I am from the Philippines, I do appreciate your effort to collect relics and antiquated items. In fact I have no idea about metal detecting but I learned through your videos. You are not just for that purpose but it also be your passion to bring to people's awareness about the importance of preserving our long lost heritage from the handiwork of history..., aside from your passion you are also a nature lover and you care about the essence of existence through your encounter with the living creatures in the woods... you are indeed admirable, keep up the good work!
