Super! Gratuliere, sehr schöne Silbermünzen und so gut erhalten, das is halt der unterschied zum Wald, die ich auf dem Acker finde sind meisten`s schlecht erhalten! ...gut gemachtes Video, steckt viel Mühe drin! Dicker Daumen hoch!
@MetalDetecting248 жыл бұрын
+Ronny Senftleben - Vielen Dank.

Great video! I like to watch your videos because they are just like when I'm metal detecting, with lot of garbage and good finds. And I don't speak alone too... ;-) I like when you use your GC-1023, surprising machine. Hope you make more videos with it. Best regards!
@MetalDetecting248 жыл бұрын
+Cláudio Aragão - Thank you very much. I will try to make some hunts with the GC-1023, when I find a proper spot (I still have unedited footage). Unfortunately I'm in "scouting mode" (in steep terrain) lately. This is where the bigger 11" Deus coil shines. But I will try to use other detectors in the future. Have a great day.

I'd get totally lost in those woods and was hoping you'd do a shot of the area when you did just that before you had visitors. I wonder if you have a GPS on all the time putting a location into memory say every minute so you can track later where you've been and, for reference ,which areas generally you've covered. Nice hunt with nice finds. You have lots of patience!
@MetalDetecting248 жыл бұрын
+Deluk - It's actually not as bad as it looks like. The woods are not that huge (unfortunately with too many trails). Sooner or later (in worst case) you would get out "soemewhere". I'm using a GPS receiver anyway to record my tracks and the position of some of the finds. It is a huge advantage. Thanks for watching. Cheers.
@Texastigerdigsdetects8 жыл бұрын
You are right.. The XP Deus is the ultimate scouting machine... And generally a great detector even with a slow swing, but a fast swing will give you a quick picture of your area.
@MetalDetecting248 жыл бұрын
+TexasTigerDigs - It's my number 1 choice in cases like this. I only wish it had more depth (when using reactivity 3). 2-3" more would not only improve the performance, but also provide a huge psychological confidence push. A very important aspect in my opinion. When I detect an area (in my "fast mode"), I'm sure, that there is not much left, when it comes to shallow targets. But at the end of the day, I ask myself if I missed deeper stuff... Unfortunately I don't like hunting with reactivity set to 2. The machine feels wrong to me (the audio has too much lag and is not precise anymore, especially in spots with greater target density). With R. 3 I'm able to predict the size and depth of many targets, which makes my hunts more fluent and fun (this is also very important). R. 2 is... just wrong in every aspect. I hope the v4 firmware update will introduce a new R. "2.5" option with improved response and depth, because the gap between 2 and 3 is too big.

@MetalDetecting248 жыл бұрын
+Javed Sheikh - It is a VLF metal detector. Name: "Deus", manufacturer: "XP". It can be used in water if the remote control is protected. The coil itself is waterproof, but you would have to attach an additional cable (otherwise the water would block the signal).

Excellent videos, super finds, and I like the "cow bell" as the best find of the day too. I hope you don't end up with a big blister on the palm of your hand the way you dig so vigorously without a glove. Do you not like pigeons? You wrote that when you found a pigeon ring it made you happy. You see, when you find a pigeon ring that means there was an ex-pigeon involved. :D Thanks for posting your hunts, and I appreciate the "wrap-up" too. A lot of guys don't do that and it leaves the viewer hanging. Best of luck, and have a nice day in Germany! Phil

great vid ive read alot o comments about you missing sounds when you sweep I think I understand why but might be of use to others I believe your listening for a specific tone
@MetalDetecting248 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Well spotted. I don't think that I miss signals... I just choose my targets wisely. I run a very aggressive setup, which really "shows the ground" (and many signals that an experienced user can classify as trash, iron, or just "falsing"). The discrimination level (or the "tone break" equivalent) is set very low in most of my videos (sometimes even around "3"). People who watch the videos can not follow what is going on, because it happens very fast (and the recorded audio is not quite as good as the live experience). If you are in control of the coil, the perception is different too. When I re-watch the footage at home, even I get the feeling, that a particular signal should/could have been investigated further. But, this is a wrong impression, believe me. Sometimes I revisit my spots to check, if I made any "mistakes"... That's why I'm pretty confident about it. I hope it doesn't sound arrogant. Have a nice day.
