I'm planning on purchasing a Deus ll. When I'm investigating a new machine I like to find one channel to use as a primer to keep all the information consistent and relative i.e. apples to apples. Your channel is the one I've chosen to use for this important phase in my detecting knowledge and experience. You are obviously extremely expert on this and other XP machines which is imperative but what I really enjoy is your good natured attitude and sense of humor. They are pleasurable and enjoyable just like your videos. Thank you sir for sharing your hard won experience with all of us this way. Dig on.

Tried relic on a stubble field skimming over the top it. Short stubble but still the coil was a couple of inches off the ground and it is incredible at getting deep signals even then. I seriously think the harvest season will be a different experience this year if bashing through it isn’t possible. Just need to shorten the stem so it doesn’t change the usual skim technique. On pasture I find the iron volume hurts my ears, even with iron volume turned right down, so I’ll have a go on your settings. Have to say though that general is getting really deep signals anyway. Thanks for a great video 👍🏼

Hi Gary, I'm struggling to find out exactly where the Deus gauge is for estimating the depth of objects.
