I will be doing a video on settings very soon but the CP9 program is based off program 3 sens ft Sensitivity 97/98 or to suit conditions Disc 6.8 Iron volume 5 Reactivity 1.5 Audio response 5 Pwm tones Silencer 1 or 0 if your feeling brave Bottle caps 0 Notch 0 Offset 13 Frequency max 40 I have used the same settings since the D2 came out and used general as a base program but since moving from 0.71 to 1.10 I found sens ft could handle these settings, before it was way too noisy. Great video the only thing I would say that Gary made the tekkna program for Roman infested sites so it’s not meant to be a deep program just to hit them romans and hammered coins with a high pitch in the iron. Best stick with your program for depth 👍

Thanks @steveningram, yes your right👍 I do touch on this in the video and say that I didnt expect Gary’s program to get a few of the targets as he’s using reactivity 3 but the one field is tricky so was interesting to see what his program could hear? Also interesting to see nonid’s we’re coming up below 42 where his disc is set at but I’ve had one of my best romans on a 36 so I would need use ears only for that one I think.. thanks for the comment

On your first target, The Tekkna program was discriminating it it out, the reason why it was not giving a TID number is because you have the iron ID off. If you go to the settings menu and turn on iron ID on, it will give you those low numbers in the foil range, Think of the iron ID setting as the discrimination ID.

Thanks Paystreak that’s great info! It was off.. I can’t remember whether gary mentioned to have the iron Id on or off? I think I ran mine off when they tried to get around the 07-09 problem when target id’s were being pulled down next to iron. Thanks again, great channel you have 😊👍

Hi @mikesmith5638 The CP9 program is based off program 3 sens ft Full tones Sensitivity 97/98 or to suit conditions Disc 6.8 Iron volume 5 Reactivity 1.5 Audio response 5 Pwm tones Silencer 1 or 0 if your feeling brave Bottle caps 0 Notch 0, some fields the standard notch (26/27?) can settle the machine down Offset 13 Frequency max 40 Iron Id off I have used the same settings since the D2 was released and used general as a base program but since moving from 0.71 to 1.10 I found sens ft could handle these settings, before it was way too noisy.
