Thank you for taking an open view to metal detectorists rather than viewing them as plunderers.

Having spent a lot of time researching history, and now knowing who went where and when, It is annoying that the Farmer/Landowner will not allow you to be on site,I do not want to be rich and discover Gold I just want to detect the history, Fife is rich in history, and I am aware where they went , when, why and what could be left behind especially Pilgrims and Oliver Cromwell

You should advise farmers and Land owners to allow NCMB registered detectorists so use the land Fife has so much archeology underground, from Pilgrims, King Charles and Oliver Cromwell, so it is there to be found but as most of Scotland is owned in Dubai, we can not detect this rich land

I do not have any permissions Though I would be quite happy to use my equipment to assist treasure trove etc and would be more than happy to just have a photograph of what I found and a wee mention on the site

Treasure Trove have not helped themselves in the past the way they have dealt with detecorists, i know this for a fact and have made gross mistakes on my finds to the extent i have proved them wrong on a item by 600 years thats how much they know...absolute disgrace
