At 4:08 it could be a toe tap off of a shoe. Ladies by the size of it.

Should have waited a bit before commenting. Too ornate for a toe tap.

Piece of a picture frame is my second guess.

Hello, I’m new into the metal detecting hobby and I’m down in Yarmouth county, I was wondering what rules I had to follow so I can metal detect in the province. I read the article they have online but didn’t quite understand.

It’s difficult to explain, if you’re getting permission and not digging on historical places you’ll be fine . If you find something of historical significance it should be reported. But what they define as historical is the question. lol

@@souwestdigger2817 thank you so much for getting back to me, one last question are beaches and rivers fair game?? As long as they are not provincial parks?

@@justintrimm3745 I see no problem as long as you’re not on anyone’s property without permission. Provincial beaches are questionable. If you ask a provincial park ranger about beach detecting, chances are they’ll have no problem. Even on beaches fill your holes and take all the trash with you . It helps keep our province clean and makes us Detectorists look good in the public’s eyes .
