Thank you again Paul for this video! You gave me a great idea by watching all your beaches videos! You guys have great beaches miles long not us but we have thousands of lakes and rivers and hundreds of Camping sites with smaller beaches! I will approach the owners and late in the afternoon when nomore peopple swims and layout at the sun, i will tell him i will sweep for free your beach and cleaning it at the same time for metal and sharp things that can injure the kids and every 1! It is worth the try plus it does not cost him a dime!!!! God Bless you and your family, Frank from the Deep North of Canada

Would like it if you could tell us your settings on the vanquish 540 when you're out on a beach with it. Iron bias high / low, sensitivity setting, coin / jewelry?

Use jewelry mode with all metal on.

The best part of the vanquish is that it is not a straight shaft like the nox.
@reds13252 жыл бұрын
You know it's funny with the vanquish is the tdi #s are super stable. But on two different "junk" rings I found I had the tdi jump around on me. So you just never know. I feel like I can predict majority of what it is before I dig it but some of them copper/silver plated rings will sound just like a bottle cap. Anyways happy hunting.

I will keep that in mind. Thanks.

How much better is it with the straight shaft? Any noticably difference? I have a 440 I hunt 4-5 days a week probably 3,4hrs at a time. I've been thinking about getting the carbon shaft. I've hit lots of silver and gold with mine, everyone watch the best setting for jewelry is the jewelry mode. Then I turn on all metal. I've found gold at a TDI #1 so depending on the kt and size it can ring up anywhere.

You had me going then Paul about the ring lol. But a ring is a ring even if it`s not gold or silver. You did get a few coin mate, anyway just a few more day and i`m off on my hol`s, let me hammer that beach for a few hours and i will be happy.

I was told to watch your channel by another enthusiast , I am a complete novice I have been using my neighbours f2 and I am not keen on it plus I need to give it back ,I now wish to buy my own but I do not have a huge budget £450 max , I am torn between a minelab 440 or the Q30,it would only be used really on a beach as I live right by a huge beach on anglesey, maybe land sometimes but mostly beach, what would your advice be ? I’m not a huge techy person so something simple to use plus being a woman I’m not as strong as a man , advice ? Thanks

So Vanquish detectors have the same multi IQ as the Minelab Equinox so with that model for beaches or land you will be in good hands. Very easy to use
@reds13252 жыл бұрын
Go with the vanquish. Their really good detectors for the price.
@FRANKKKKYYYY4 ай бұрын
If you gp with Vanquish save a bit and get the540 Pro Pack|! It gives you to great coils 12 and either 8 or 10 inches, Bluetooth Head set, 4 X 2800 batteries with charger rxtremely light, Ajustable and can be folded 24 inches great for back pack so it is worth the little bit more price wise but you hv a prof. detector for life!!

I quite fancy detecting on a beach like this but the laws surrounding detectors put me off it. I'm an anti social type so it seems like a good way of being alone doing something.
