Finally getting some rain (relic primer) here in Georgia. The signals were really popping on this hunt, including a stunning brass pipe! Come along and see what other coins and relics were found.

@4:42 you said my mantra! “Curse of the live dig”! It seems like 80% of the time when I dig something live, it’s crap. So they are edited out of the video usually. That pipe is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Congratulations! Really good video! I’m glad I just found you. You popped up in my feed and I’m glad. Looking forward to watching all of them

The large cent was a nice way to start the day and I knew that flat button was old, so I spent most of my time working that one spot. So many signals in the ground! Can't wait to get back and find out what I missed. Thanks for watching, Shannon - HH!

That pipe is killer! But you know that button is really cool too because it tells us how important something as simple as a button was back then. That they had to keep it and fix it. Now days we wouldn't even think twice about it and probably throw away the clothing it came off of.

So true - people valued their possessions back then and took good care of them. If something wore out, you fixed it. Seems we live in a "throw it out" society today. Thanks for watching, SWPA - HH!

I may be mistaken but I believe the Rail Road tag you found is a Harness Property Marker for the horses. The long slot would have a leather or canvas strap through it. I have seen similar tags on harnesses for carriage horses. They help ID the harness set up for certain horses and the fact that the harness belonged to the Rail Road. Now if I am wrong don't burn me too bad, LOL.
