Looks a nice place to detect. Mushrooms are always interesting to see, all the different types. No chance I'm eating any. yes, I've always gone for the cheap spade option. The wider platform at the top of the blade for your foot strike is a good idea. Best wishes.

I have just returned my pinpointer Max. It was simply not working. Deadzones on the sides. How does yors work?

So far it’s been fine, I’ve had it while now. I’ve got quite quite a few pinpointers and that’s my go to one.
