The marble is a great find, German handmade glass marble circa 1900 or earlier . It is a extremely rare swirl , sign up to "All about marbles" and post a photo there. It "could" be worth a lot of money depending on the maker. The Opium Utensils are a fantastic find.

Thanks you for the info on the marble, will check out the site. I don’t know anything about them but always pick them up when I can.

Love it when I see a new video from you! Is there a link to a website that has more information on the dog license and cart plates? I have tried to search but google mainly just points to websites that have no bearing on these awesome and interesting collectibles.

In WA here they are highly collectible and have a big following. There was a book written by 2 local authors but very little online. Most of our research is done on TROVE which shows limited historical info from the various localities that issued them. Unfortunately all of the localities that issued them did not retain any records, mostly destroyed, info now only online government gazettes.

Pretty sure the UK detectors are having heart palpitations seeing you rubbing the silver 😅.

I know, almost a cardinal sin there, but they are mostly environmentally damaged not to be numismatic worthy

Hi love the old town site you dig. Love to know the settings you use on the 800. I may be swinging to fast

@@PaulPratt-q1w keep things simple in trash sites. Run field 2 all metal, sensitivity as high as the ground permits, I usually run 21-23 depending. Swing slowly and grid from different angles. Allow the recovery speed to help you, and broken high tones can be good masked targets so dont be afraid to do lots of scrapes to see if the target improves. Low and slow is best for sure.
