Well hello there my friends!!
I know it's been a while... so i decided to put 2 parts in one video, so you have something to watch!! :)
2 trips to the AMAZING dump hole.. and a lot of STUNNING finds again!
A lot of personal items were discovered, also more German helmets, including another Fallschirmjäger / Paratrooper!!
And the dog tags... so much dog tags!!!
Enjoy the video! :D
Important to know:
This wasn't a grave, this is a dump hole made by U.S. soldiers.
They stripped deceased German soldiers, and dumped all their stuff in a big hole.
The original owners of the items are all resting in peace, and the items are handled with respect.
Finds like these are important, Historical items such as these must be preserved.
We can't just let them rot away.. the items are in good hands, and will never be sold!
We don't care about money, we care about History, and the brave soldiers who fought and died in WWII.
We pay our respects to preserve their stories, and the items they left behind!
Rest in peace, all soldiers who died in WW2! Why do the dog tags look like U.S. tags?
The dog tags found in the videos are U.S. dog tags made by U.S. soldiers for deceased German soldiers.
These tags were made by the GRS ( Grave Registration Service ) and were used on temporary grave markers.
What i found is a medical waste dump pit with equipment of KIA German soldiers.
These tags are extremely rare to find!

Nick, if the amount of dog tags equals the amount of soldiers' equipment thrown away, you may have a year's digging left here! So many tags, they even bundled them with wire! Wow. That's all I can think of to say! Wow! And you're finding so many personal items, belt buckles, razors, belts....just awesome! You're in for some big-time cleaning sessions! Can't wait for Part 8! awesome video Nick. I watched an interview with an American soldier who was in the graves registration unit. they followed behind the front lines and temporarily buried fallen soldiers on both sides. made dog tags and buried them with the soldiers. they also removed the equipment from them. my guess is you have found a location where a battle took place. the fallen soldiers were buried and then moved to a nearby cemetery after the war. it's amazing to see everything after so many years.

Great video. Were these dogtags those of soldiers killed in battle or were some of them unissued? Whatever hit the German forces there looks to have caused some serious fires as a lot of those helms are burnt. I know we didn't have napalm then, but I wonder if that could have been caused by white phosphorus shells. Anyway, you hit the treasure dump fair and square.

7:36 - isn't it a Waffen-SS helmet cover? Kinda looks like. 16:30 - that's a cool helmet tho - it was hit that hard, that it broke and nearly 80 years later fell upart upon slight impact. I have a Hungarian M35/38 one, that was shot right through and it just blasted the whole upper part apart. Magnificent find ;) 22:59 - really cool find! I've found once a shot mauser cartrige casing from 1915 and this is what I still consider one of the most incredible finds in my whole life. ...Also perhaps invest in a bricklayers trowel? I find them invaluable for digging, way more controllable than a big shovel and might save your knife (it looks like quite a nice one)

Might this be a good time to invest in a small digger (JCB or similar) for the day? You really need to open the hole out, of course the farmer who owns the field might have an opinion on that!😃

The only reasonable conclusion would be German soldiers surrendering and these items were burned and buried by U.S. soldiers.

Abslolutly stunning finds again! I don't know if i remember right, did your previous channel named "k98 100" or something like that? Im not quite sure about it, would be nice to know. Is there a possibility to send you a package with some stuff? I really enjoy your videos and i just want to say thank you in some way. Anyway, keep up your fantastic work and good luck for the future.

I think a small assortment of brick layer trowels would be good in your digging tool kit. The sort of pie shaped ones with the handle. small to medium large size would be very helpful to carefully remove compacted soil around fragile artifacts. Archeologists and forensic investigators use them too. Just a thought. Who I wonder was responsible for disposing of all this gear in the ground and burning it etc. Was this near or on a former battlefield or was it just hauled out there and dumped into a hole and covered over??? It seems it would have had some surplus or resale value on foreign markets.
