Metal detecting -XP Deus 2 finds silver again! But what other treasures did we find?

A very enjoyable few hours detecting. Some nice finds including a ring and a silver coin. Hi, lol yes, Jon went through every George 🤣. I am not adverse to having the occasional wild wee, but it is a very busy footpath and was exceptionally busy that day, just didn't want to shock the locals 🤣🤣. Take care and all the best Jon and Wendy 🙂

Great that you found a coin that you’ve never found before and gives me hope with my very cheap detector (it literally just tells me there’s metal there) that I to may find something similar one day because it was so shallow. The ring was beautiful, very delicate decoration on it.

You really could have found that coin with any detector but you may need to dig more targets, when I had my first detector back in the 1970's it just detected all metals and I dug everything, but I still found hundreds of good finds and coins, but it does take a lot more work. Keep at it and maybe sometime you could get another detector second hand that is a bit more selective, modern machines are getting better all the time and even some of the cheaper ones now have the ability to discriminate and are even multi frequency.
