Great Video Gary and Nice Find on The Hammered! I have a buddy that uses the Deus Lite and absolutely does a phenomenal job on finding Silver Coins at old home sites and parks! He has gotten so use to the lite version and the tones he doesn't even bother to use the remote anymore!

Great video Gary and well explained. The find at 12:30 is a Medieval buckle plate with the two tanged (forked spacer) going into the plate. The two tanged (forked spacer) would have been joined to the buckle frame, it's just that the buckle frame and pin is broken off the end of the spacer. See a similar example on PAS (1350-1450) finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/731563

Hi Garry having watched lots off your videos on the Deus your knowledge is brilliant So that's why I am buying the Deus light next week ,,I have being Detecting about 6 years now using Makro racer 1 and latest 2 with some wonderful finds over the years but now iam buying the Deus light next week what I wanted to ask you , I don't know weather to get the X35 coil with comes with it or the 9 inch HF round white coil what would you suggest would suite my needs I Detect around Wiltshire with some great permissions all the best Stewart Wilts 👍👍

I hope not, December 2023 Im Considering getting the deus, I feel like I should get the full kit because what if I get the light, and then later can't get the remote I want the x35 and the HF elliptical, with remote thats $1500 canadian, with the lite its only $1100 The lite is 6 or 7 hundred, where as I can get the full one for $995 So I'm also considering getting the full one for $995 and getting the HF coil later, instead of the remote later

Hi Gary, I wonder if you could help me. I have bought the deus lite with the ws5 headphones. Just tried it for the first time on a piece of grass away from the house on p3 and p9 but getting constant chatter. I altered ground balance and sensitivity but no different and when I passed the coil over various targets on the grass it picked them up until you lifted the coil about 3 to 4 inches above them.

It sounds like your ground, perhaps EMI, if there was a fault it would show on all programs.

Hey I was wondering if you could possibly make a video on the deus lite puck controls. I've had the deus lite for about 6months now and I just found out if I hold the menu button down it gives more options to customize. But they dont have a description on what your actually changing if thay makes any sense. I'm trying to figure out what I'm actually changing. I know you have change the main menu option to change the 2ndary menu options. Does anyone know what is selected if I hold menu on sensitivity, and on volume, and discrimination? I'd like to customize some programs but cant cause I dont know exactly what I'm changing.. love the videos learned alot about my machine but not alot of videos showing what they xp lite can actually do and how to actually controll it.
