I honestly think pretty much every song is "single worthy". This is one of the strongest albums I've heard in recent years, not sure what everyone else thinks but I personally love every second of it. Interesting thoughts though, especially from a drummer's point of view. Will definitely watch more of your videos!

Death is not defeat is by far my favorite on the album. The intro starting with the orchestral background is pretty dope, but the jump out with the first chorus in the intro is crazy. The breakdown transition to the halftime deal was pretty interesting. The song is a super fun one to play on guitar, and the overall drum tones on the album were interesting. Really a fan of the snare sound on the album.

Holy Hell and Damnation are definitely my favourites. Doomsday and Royal Beggars are my favourites of the singles, was really hoping they'd use Holy Hell as the next single but Death is Not Defeat is still super tight. Would love to see Damnation bro

Hi Wyatt, I’m new to playing metal,love your channel,was wondering if you could do a video,of how you break the tracks down when you cover them. I’ve been into metal since the 80s but only been playing double pedal for the past 2 years,poor confidence I guess. Keep up the awesome work mate,big live from the uk 👍👍👍

A Holy Hell Medley would be cool in my opinion. But you definitely need to do a whole cover of 'Mortal After All'!!

I definitely think you would enjoy oceans ate Alaska - The escapist or Blood Brothers or Hansha or really any song by them Chris Turner is a beast and super technical i think you would enjoy especially being a drummer definitely a difficult drummer to cover but i feel you got it

I recently played through Hereafter. To be honest, I didn't like to play the last fill before the chorus either lol. For me though it was because I was struggling with it. Take a look if you wanna. Nice vid as usual man!

Royal Beggers is my favorite off this album I think
@HollowCrown456 жыл бұрын
24:44 You are probably refering to The Empty Hourglass here, although I could be mistaken. Honestly, although I liked Modern Misery as a single, that's probably the only song of the album I catch myself skipping way too often. And in regard with "Royal Beggers", although it didn't grow on me too much with the first few listens, man am I hooked to that chorus now. Just surprises me how powerful Sam Carter can still scream.
@WyattStav6 жыл бұрын
Alexandre Deshaies very good points. I don’t listen to Royal beggars anymore. Every time I cover a song it kinda kills it for me because I’m forced to hear it hundreds of times hahaha 😉🤣
