Duuuude thanks for the sub!! That’s crazy man. I hope I can someday get that good being self taught but luckily for me I have KZbin where there are thousands of free lessons on here, I also just love drums so it’s fun to nerd out and see what everyone picks to add to their kit. Everyone’s drum set is custom to them and it’s cool to me to see what they choose

He's absolutely trained. He reads sheet music while he plays...wouldn't expect many self-taught people to be able to read and play this type of music to this level of precision.

Alex is a bad ass! I’ve seen lots for drummers lean forward when doing really fast double bass. Francisco Paoli former drummer now singer guitarist of Fleshgod Apocalypse leaned forward as well.

Alex is insane! and yeah I've just heard from multiple drum teachers not to lean forward or back so I just try not to do either when I play. I think you cant help but do a little bit of leaning when your playing intense shit like this
