Having discover The Warning back in mid 2015 It has been a joyous ride watching them “evolve” from three very young girls doing covers on KZbin to the full on rock stars we now see exploding on the world music scene. With the release of not just this song “Evolve” but their other recent release “Choke” as singles from the yet to be named album from which they come, these sisters have not just opened up doors of unlimited opportunity, but kicked them down! These young ladies are awesome! You should try their previous album, Queen of the Murder Scene. It is a concept album that tells the descent of a girl from love to obsession, stalking, murder, and madness. Dust to Dust is the intro, with Pau singing lead while drumming furiously.

I remember how much you liked Pau's cover of Creep. I am glad you finally got to see the whole band. They are like the Swiss Army Knife of Rock. Dany (vocals, guitar) doesn’t do many solos but when she does they are freakin amazing. Queen of the murder scene is a great song from them. It’s the title track from their album of the same name and has a great guitar solo in it 🤟

Greetings from Fresno, California BeardoWeirdo! Great reaction! This is the 2nd single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. "We wrote - EVOLVE - about humanity's dangerous obsession with evolving... and how sometimes that evolution leads us to slowly leave our humanity behind. Is this dehumanizing evolution right or wrong?" The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers who are truely grateful and endearing to all of their fans. Each one of their original songs is an absolute banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release. The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 21, 19 and 16 years old and have already written and arranged 45 original songs all by themselves. Looking forward to watching you discover more of this great band. They released their full album Error in June of 2022, toured over 100 dates during the year, as headliners of their own tour, opened for Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, and Stone Temple Pilots. They also toured with Halestorm 2x, The Pretty Reckless, and Three Days Grace. Any songs form the album are worth checking out and there are a ton of great live performance videos up at their KZbin page to react to. None of the live performances will get blocked, giving you the opportunity to see what they are like live. I promise you, they are a great live band.

If you're a drummer you really should check out a young drummer (now 11 years old) named Yoyoka. She has a a huge youtube following and was recently ranked in the top 500 drummers alive today. She does a lot of Rock covers. Check out her cover of _Good Times Bad Times_ by Zeppelin when she was 8 or _Burn_ by Deep Purple when she was 11. Her many subscribers will recommend new songs from there.
