Toyko Dome version was awesome but my favourite is Wembley Arena if only for Su's dramatics dropping to the floor in a kneeling pose in the pause . That just brought out a gasp Su Queen of showmanship! I love the Su solos ❤🤘🦊🤘

That opening is from the big Toyko Dome shows. Epic, they sold it out 2 nights back-to-back in front of 110,000 people. Wearing a Hello Kitty hat while listening to BabyMetal is perfectly acceptable if not expected.

⚡ / 💙 Su finally got a solo where she wasn't trapped in an eternal nightmare, cherishing a star-crossed love until her body perishes, or having her heart filled by endless rain. Really, after all those years, she deserved a break. : ) This one is still a little melancholy, but with more hope. "Let the words of love resound into the night sky. Let them bring Amore to outer space. The blue star that shines brings the life into my hands." - Amore Such a beautiful blend of Su's voice and electric guitars. And of course that BOH bass solo. This footage had Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars. And of course Hideki Aoyama on drums. The studio track had Kami Band guitarist Leda Cygnus playing both guitars and bass. He's the only Kami Band member known to have participated in the studio. Apparently, Koba brings in studio musicians on a song by song basis.

All that, and you missed 'Rondo of Nightmare', a Su solo and studio track from the first album. : ) And that's not counting cover songs that Su sung solo like 'White Love' and 'Tamashii no Rufuran'.

This is a slightly schizophrenic compilation of performances, but still epic. We get Su's wings symbol at the beginning which harkens back to her short time in "Karen Girl's"...Moa's symbol is the heart and Yui's is the skull which derive from their designs for Sakura Gakuin T-shirts. All these symbols are part of the Babymetal logo. I think of Amore and Akatsuki as a pair. They both have "crimson moon" references and mentions of keeping love alive even when the lovers are separated, but Amore is more optimistic than Akatsuki. I also like Su's dancing in this. I feel that Amore is one of BM's more straight ahead songs, at least musically. Up to the dramatic pause it's a power ballad without any bizarre time signature changes or massive transitions, it's just driving forward. The melody always resolves itself in an unsurprising but satisfying way. It's also almost as much about the guitar and bass solos as Su's singing so while Aoyama is driving everything with the drums we also get solos from BOH (tapping), Fujioka and Ohmura. It's a great "big hair" type song that reminds me of the 1980s in a good way.

👊🏽⚡️…”There are no words..”. Babymetal reactions get this comment a lot. I love watching Su tap into moves made famous by the king Elvis. The lyrics fit the music and especially Su’s vocals.

Nice reaction. Su's clean vocals are so good she'll make you fall in love. That's Amore. lol The Kamiband are all great players on their own. Put them together and you get the godband. I had hopes they would just make them part of the band. But they got so much going on themselves that during the last tour they had to create the West Kamiband due to their schedules. Su sang from the top of the stage just so the fans in the upper deck and the cheap seats could get their monies worth. Babymetal over the years have tried to find ways in the big arenas to get close to the fans. Big crowds don't seem to bother them as they have navigated the trains in Tokyo's subways. You can check vids of that on youtube to get an idea of what that's like. A hint.. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overcrowded. lol Enjoy the rest of your Babymetal journey.
