When I did it, I ended up baiting him and another dude because of a panic throw so I had to tranq them both and drag the boxer marine into the corner and shake him like a salt shaker to get his tag and move on.

This game has been out for 23 years and never in my life have I ever thought about that choking tactic when escorting Emma out to the elevator lol. After getting all the tags on the higher difficulties, I found "Easy" to be the hardest difficulty for dog tags. Suddenly, you're supposed to get tags from those first guards at the bottom of Strut A... I was so annoyed when I saw I didn't get 100% because of those 2 that are not a part of the dog tag hunt on Normal/Hard/Extreme. Also, Easy makes you get 2 dog tags from the middle of the standing marines in the holds. Normal doesn't even have one.

A thing to note, DO NOT lunge with with the non lethal HF blade because it will count as a kill. Just finished very easy and lunged at one tengu and ended up with 1 kill on my stats 😭

I noticed that when i restarted from very easy to easy, and easy to normal, alot of guards start not giving you dog tags even after the difficulty switch. They dont bother shaking themselves even if you point at their head.
