Hi, thank you very much for the comment, it always warms my heart :) I made visible some of the preproduction/test videos on this channel under "Making of" playlist. We did those before the shooting. It was our first project and it required a bit of a preparation, tests and lots and lots of time. Budget for this movie was roughly 4000 dollars. That includes all of the costumes, weapons, lens for camera, gimbal, lights, batteries, rent of the shooting place, food and some other minor things. I am aiming to do some making of / bloopers video if I get a sufficient footage from my friends.

KGB officers in uniform had green shoulderboards on their uniforms, whereas Soviet Army officers wore uniforms with red shoulderboards marked with the letters СА because that was the abbreviation for “Soviet Army” in Cyrillic characters. In those characters, what would be the English letter S looks like the letter C.

Wow this is one of my favorite fan films out there, amazing job! I agree with another commenter, the differences from the original game and this film feel well chosen, for the sake of a more cinematic take. And the accents feel like they are perfectly in line with the game (the dialogue is english in our perspective, but in the storys context Russian is spoken at all times minus the codec calls. I dont know if this is russian but it feels immersive enough to me). I hope you guys do a sequel in the future!

Yea, it did not occure to me during the shooting, but my wife pointed that out later, but it was too difficult to cut it out, so I just went with it. Regarding glasses you are absolutely right, but believe it or not, we could not find proper glasses that wouldnt look too goofy, so we let them out of the costume, although I now its iconic for Sokolov. :) Anyway, thank you for watching and comment :)

not bad... infact it was really good.... but sokolov wasn't wearing his glasses.... snake looked like robert Carlisle and he2 major zero had Russian ascents and ocelot was a bit on the chubby side... but other then that... it was brilliant 10 out of 10 for style

Jinak já moc rád ocením konstruktivní kritiku, bez toho se člověk nezlepší. Co tě praštilo přes nos nejvíc? Dabing, herecké výkony, kamera nebo něco jiného?

@@marekstruhar5574 Omlouvám se, že odpovídám až nyní, nějak mi nevyskočilo upozornění. Kamera/střih/herecké výkony na jedničku! Nejvíce co "nedávalo smysl", bylo u poslední "přestřelky" , že 4-5 lidí "nezabijou" 1týpka :D Píšu to jako retard, snad je to srozumitelný. Samozřejmě v téhle situaci by nevyšel jako vítěz, být to v reálném životě. + ty přestřelky mi tam neseděly, ať to byla střelba či schovávání se za nějakou věc, chtělo by se to trošku víc vžít do role a opravdu do toho dát maximum, ikdyž je jasné, že by tam mohlo dojít ke zranění, pokud tam někdo udělá skluz na 10metrů a může si vyměnit kalhoty + sehnat náplasti :D Ale jsou to opravdu detaily, já si prostě tenhle krátký film vychutnal a samozřejmě že budget na to nejsou stovky tisíc, tak nějaký menší nedostatek se tak ukáže. Takže asi tak, z pohledu diváka bych tohle rád viděl jinak, ale jinak krásná práce všem, kteří se na tom podíleli!! HODNĚ ŠTĚSTÍ!
