Not to be “that guy” because I primarily listen to and engineer hip hop/R&B… but Metal deserves more love from todays generation man. There is a special place in my soul for metal, when you have the right playlist on in the gym or even just walking around in public it makes you feel like a absolute beast. I wish everyone could experience that feeling, you can almost see it in some of the young girls faces as they start subconsciously head banging along as they walk past lol such a great, empowering feeling that only this genre of music can give you

It's not a mean laugh, it's suprised one - it's usually some spanish guitar/accordion players you see outside, not something loud and disturbing as metal, so such players are seen as something out of the ordinary and like an attraction of sorts. What, you'd like people to sob or tear up from this? Of course they're laughing - "Haha, look *friend's name*, this one's playing rock/metal, i haven't seen that before haha".
