Can't wait!! May set the alarm. Rens message really gets me upset. He is 100% right. We could do so much better but I think the damage is done. We are too divided and distracted. We would pretty much have to repopulate and start over and program future brains for good, and get rid of money completely. It's so funny the things we fight to get changed but we don't look at money as the motivation for bad for all the evil we see. Is it worth it? Oh you can have it all. I loved your reaction to this! the peeking through the fingers stole my heart! all my life (I started working at 13) I have felt the squeeze of money. didn't matter how much more I got paid as I got older, the money never went as far. added costs when car insurance became mandatory. that was just the beginning. I played by their rules. believed that with hard work I could get ahead. all the while my money got me less and less. fast forward to 53. I'm on a sponge on the ground under a tarp. Cali gets 17 B just for homelessness. guess what? three years later the homeless population has increased. in my area Catholic charities got a new building. I'm still on a sponge. if you are a couple and your kids are grown they don't know what to do with you. it will never be fixed because there is no money ina solution. that goes for everything else as well. thanks to the mainstream news I get labeled a drug addict and crazy. when I am not either. my fixed income fixed me right out of the rental market. there are lotteries to GET on the list for sect. 8 housing. it's not line up and get put on a list. it's a drawing to get a place on a list if you are lucky enough to be drawn. so now when I hear thunder on the horizon, I have to hope I am lucky enough that each lightning strike is far enough away that I don't get electrocuted. judgmental people don't even realize the opinion they have of homeless is not one they came to themselves. repetitive news blurbs and Hollywood movies gave them the bulk of their opinions. very few have ever talked to a homeless person. the housing crisis has been around since before WWII. our government is an epic failure. almost 100 years and they can't fix just one issue. but they sure are great at renaming things. it's not a game. unimaginable amounts of people suffer. the only thing government does is lie. they are no longer for the people. they are for big business and profit. we are at the tipping point where the mega rich will have more money than governmentS. we all know the golden rule..... are we going to let that stand or do something about it. because the change that is coming is going to effect EVERYONE. not just the people under a tarp. it will not be a game. it is not easy to put myself out like this. but if I don't no one will know. thank you Omar, for being brave enough to ask. being kind enough to ask. thank you O. Ann, this is not a new story to me. I am in Australia, and we have the same situation here. We have families living under bridges, single people who are priced out of the housing market joining them. We have local governments and charities issuing tents to people to live in parks. I ask myself, how in one of the richest countries on Earth, how can this sh*t happen? It defies belief. However, we are slow to realize that the system isn't broken, it is operating exactly the way it was designed to operate. I wonder how much longer we can tolerate it?

@@lencooke944 you are right. this is how they want it to "work". the wef working behind the scenes for decades unchecked made it hard to put a finger on the problem for years. along with mainstream news providing the smoke screens and perception management, polarization, crisis creation and hyperbole. now I know that freedom and democracy are an illusion and that everything I was taught is a lie. K thru 12 grade is only there to produce non thinking individuals to feed the machine of the 40 hour slave week. we the PEOPLE OF THE WORLD are going to have to fight together against big businesses and the 1% ourselves. sorry for spewing that out. so frustrating. thank you so much for hearing me. for hearing me without focusing on that I live under a tarp. your kindness means so much more than you know. We understand it happened to my family in 2018 in England People are very judgemental I was working as live in carer half the time. It's literally exhausting. I'm a single mom of kids who are young adults now. We all still live together because financially it's really the best and only option. Where we live a one bedroom apartment is over 2k a month so we live in a house together because gone are the days you can be a young adult or college student and work a full time job and afford your own place. It's so wild. I had my own place when I was 18 and worked a full time minimum wage job and that's just not an option for these kids. Also my kids are musicians as well and my oldest a professional deathcore drummer and an full time self employed recording engineer. The struggle is real for everyone now.

I actually envy you. I was telling my kids it doesn't make sense for us each to have a mortgage and my grandson going to daycare. Everyone would have more free time if we lived together. Enjoy your time with them!

Your son is fortunate to have you. I've always liked the way other cultures live with multiple generations under one roof, and that's what we have done. We have 3 generations, age range 12 to 70, plus 2 dogs, 2 cats and a lizard. This helps everyone on so many levels, financially, physically, emotionally etc. Our home isn't a mansion, but it's home. ❤

I live with my mother in law too, my youngest is 5 and shes 72 next month. its great, I never had a relationship with my grandparents as they lived out of the city so for my kids to have that bond is beautiful. we only live in a small house but like you say, its a home and thats all that matters

Omar, your Ren reactions are really so lovely. It's like you get the message in the music so intuitively and on such a deep and personal level. That's how us RENegades wound up becoming RENegades. The music hit home on so many levels, and Ren has the genius to make it both musically appealing and emotionally compelling. A really rare combination. As several people commented below, I am also in a multi-generational, multi-family household because housing costs, groceries, everything has just sky-rocketed. I think there is a cultural difference towards money in the UK. Growing up i heard phrases like 'The love of money is the root of all evil' and 'There's enough money for everyone's needs but not enough for everyone's greed'. There is a great documentary on KZbin called The Money Masters. It explains alot.

Honestly we are indoctrinated pretty much from birth that money is the end all be all - we work our backsides off to 'do better' and move up that ladder (food chain) and then once we feel like we're actually getting somewhere they move the goalposts. We are all in the same place really just working our arses off to try to make it... but we have the cool things too like music, and finding people who you click with in some way and we can put away the stressy nonsense a least for a while and just enjoy the now as opposed to worrying about the tomorrow. So have a great now all of ye all, tomorrow can take care of itself for a little while 🙂

Whew, asking for opinions on the government ... you are a brave guy! Lol. I'm not going to go there, but I do love how Ren manages to be equal opportunity in his lack of love for the people in charge. I tend to agree. Am not a fan! But, could I do better? Nope. It takes a collection of really intelligent people whose hearts are in the right place to come up with the right combination and compromises to find balance that's both aimed at taking care of people and remaining fiscally responsible. I would bankrupt us in a heartbeat giving away money needed for infrastructure and the military to animal shelters. See? This is why I couldn't run the country. Not enough balance. But I wish people who go into politics understood their own weaknesses and tried to compensate by partnering with someone who balances their viewpoints. Or actually just gave a damn about people ... that would be refreshing.

Great reaction, and greetings from a fellow immigrant (from Germany) who grew up in the US. For seven years I did construction work with a Mexican work crew here in New Mexico--the only "anglo" among them--so you could say I have a unique perspective on immigration. My mom was a green card immigrant, and most of the Mexicans I worked with were full US citizens who paid taxes and worked extremely hard. (I know, because I had to go with them to their accountant to answer questions related to their tax filings.) When Ren talks about our hypocrisy, about all of us being immigrants, etc., it always hits me hard. Look forward to your next Ren or The Big Push reaction! 🤠

Its about way more than the government, its about how we deal with the concept of money as a species. And how a lot of the divisiveness that's around just now is being deliberately stoked by people who are making money from the traffic it generates on social media. And that we are the ones ultimately responsible because even when we know what is realy going on we still hit the dislike button or rush to the comments to voice our opinion and argue with eachother. When you talked about having to look away from the camera.... that actually resonated with me, a weird thing, yeah. I have something called refractive assessment disorder. This is pretty much a broad term for common vision problems like nearsightedness and etc. But what it does for me is that i can't focus on objects, even people's faces when I talk, or my eyes get blurry. So I have to move my eyes a lot. Its something I explain to people I interact with, like coworkers and friends because I got in trouble as a kid in school for never looking at people when they were speaking. So, weird thing to connect with from this video, but there it is 😊

I do this too. With me, it is ASD, which makes it hard to follow my own train of thought unless I shut out any sensory distractions. I either have to look away or close my eyes entirely. It does drive people crazy, but its either that or I wind up lost in a verbal maze which would also drive people crazy. I'm sure for a lot of people, it is like sitting around watching Windows do updates, but it is kind of the same concept. It takes all my processing power to put together all the little bits that make a coherent communication, so everything else has to shut down for a while.

Hi Omar, I saw this trilogy posted by you and I had to watch it. May I say, I wasn't disappointed by your reaction at all. You get this. You understand what Ren is talking about. We are all just grist to the wheel of economics, pawns to the rich, and we are blinded and largely mute drones for the political elite. This was a superb reaction. Thank you. I have followed you since your early Babymetal days, I admired your honesty and acceptance of them, and all music in general. Do you still have your radio show in Oregon? I looked it up a couple of years ago and found I could access it through my computer, but, since I live in Australia, your show was on while I am at work, so I never got to phone in to talk. Here's a money game for ya. I have 2 vertibreas in my lower back that are in a C shape instead of an O. My mom tried to get Social Security for me as a kid. They denied me because I can walk. It's pretty painful to be active. Feels like being stuck in a 70 year body. I worked fast food for a few years. I got Social Security in '03. I got $600 a month. Now I just broke $1,000 last year. Over 20 years.

I feel Ren covers alot of what we are all thinking in these songs. I’ve watched all the Money Games probably close to 100 times each and it still hits so hard. Especially 3. The work Ren put into making this with Samual and his team. Blows my mind. He is such a brilliant man and his work ethic is crazy hard. He gives us 110% and some. Yes, we are all apart of the money game. In this life I feel we have to pick our battles and leave the rest. We can do our part to help make this world a better place, but it’s not better if we allow ourselves to be stressed the f out about how dreadful things are.
