Hi guys! Kyle from Carter Auto Restyling was in the neighbourhood this week, so I coerced him into giving us some restoration tips for your rusty classic! I figured out "V8 Showdown" 1958 Studebaker was a good test subject, so let's get busy!
Also: We just got in a new shipment of "Same Old Shit" coffee mugs, so get them while they last, haha!
Oh! I do not have a Telegram account or any bullshit contest going! Do not respond to any of these "contest winner" replies; they are a scam.
Thanks to everyone who subscribed to our channel here, and thanks also for all of your "likes" and comments!

Well I didn't know what to expect. I've come to like the Stude more and more. Sat with a coffee watching I started laughing as Kyle worked away hammering out your commentary 🤣. I noticed you gave him the right side of the car, well he is left handed (or "cuddy wiffter" as they say here in the NE of England), till he came to paint spraying when he's right handed! At first I admired his determination to work in the pouring rain more than his results, but as things progressed I was impressed by what he, and you achieved outside in poor conditions on what was a tidy up. I'm impressed.

I grew up just down the road from a friend of mine who in his teenage years became quite proficient at fast body work. But he had a trade secret he never shared with anybody but me. When he came across a rust hole that needed filled he snuck into the bathroom and grabbed a handful of his mothers kotex. He would stuff the hole full and when the bondo got them wet they would swell out and make backing for the repair that was better than screen. He did get some cussing though when his mother would head to the bathroom closet for said product and found none. Oh my God did I just let out his trade secret? Now everybody knows. You two had me rolling in the floor laughing. Hope there are many more endeavors like this for this duo ! The only thing that could have made this video better is if Dean was there to drink beer and hold the camera.

The Stude is beginning to look like new! I used copious amounts of moist wadded up newspaper and cardboard to fill in the deep speed holes followed by fiberglass when re-styling those same areas and then some on a very crusty white1969 Rambler American Station wagon. After creative bondo and sanding I blasted old smelly white oil based house paint from the basement over it mixed in with a little thinner, no primer. It was mint at 10 feet away. Can't wait to see more special bodywork on that ' 58 ! Please cherry it out with more...

That was some impressive buttering up though. As you stated, ready for auction but we know that the ‘Ol Studebaker is going to win the grass drag. Especially with Myles sneaking in some, we’ll Plymouth Poncho tricks, oops did I just put out a spoiler? Well, if it doesn’t win, it’ll be a close second. Good luck Ashley and team Vic.
