@tonykolas4402 3 жыл бұрын
@@jbwanthony3177 it was generic and simple but I would much rather them do a generic and simple track heavy than what they released off of their last album. What they did here is what they do best and what they should stick to. MMF isn’t gonna get technical or change the structure. Just like how Beartooth is it will 90% of the time be riff verse chorus riff verse (breakdown in second verse sometimes) chorus breakdown chorus and then breakdown riff. To each their own though this isn’t my song of the year at all I’m just glad to see a band that I grew up with go back to a similar sound to what I liked from them in the past. It’s all about personal preference 🤘🏼

MMF doesn't have to innovate to me because their sound is THEIRS. They've just added a new twist to what we've heard from them before and that is okay! Edit: maybe it is because their last album went more towards a Hard Rock ish radio friendly formula that so many see it as a triumphant return? Could be the case. Maybe that's why it feels Fresh again to me. The old PEAK Memphis (2011-2016) mixed with some new sounds mixed in.

Great mmf song! I like the tone and I'm glad they went back to an older but modern sound. Also the warning in the beginning was a seizure warning.

It's hard to argue with The Sinner being the best song, they have so many, but I'd say Sleepless Nights. Too many bangers though, think I'm gonna get back into them!

Tuning is double drop c# which is a whole octave down from their old stuff like what was on challenger and older. It’s kinda how that added a modern twist just drop lower!

Notice LOTS of metal bands throwing that little extra ocatve effect with the whammy and im loving it. Makes it sound so fat and just sort of changes the tone up a bit
