6:40 Dickie Allen actually explained how he does a Scream kinda like this in a Kardavox Academy video. He plugs his nose, does a high scream and is like pushing the air through his nose but because he plugged it with his fingers it travels back and has that "eating zombie" typa sound. Its a little hard to explain and to get down, but I got it working and it sounds really filthy like that cool kinda filthy. Iam obviously no vocal couch just an intermediate trying out new stuff but I think that's what Will does here, absolute banger, the guy is a god.

@@Tbass17 The Kick is triggered. That is not the same as a programmed drum. The trigger detects every hammer strike from the pedal and plays a sound of a set strength/volume. This is a common thing in this style of music because the higher you push your BPM the harder it is to get a clear consistent strike every single time. They use a trigger so that every hit sounds the same and is distinct - it's why it sounds a bit like a machine-gun bullets generally make a very consistent sound even when fired in quick succession. Go and watch one of Evgeny Novikov's (Slaughter to Prevail, Katalepsy) playthroughs he has a foot cam and you can watch his feet and the kick hammers going.

Everyone always equates this song with the breakdown (understandably), but 2:12 is, to me, the stand out section. I’ve never heard such brutality and chaos from every instrument be simultaneously balanced in that way. It’s absurd.

The transitions are so smooth. I freaking love this song. A true musical masterpiece. From the orchestral parts, to the guitar parts, to the drums, the dark bass tone and the vocals.
