I stand by it and never seen anyone else mention it, in the goat video the bass and drums are elevated on stage at the end within a house of worship while the 2 guitars stay on the floor for a reason.

@1:58 It's how he(they)* writes his music/ preforms it. Simply put. When they flex they flex within a cord or cord progression you know in the song, making it juicy with* the thick meat of the progression and flow of the song, and yet* ear melting with the artistic flair and speed, as well as, technicality within such restraints. It's how they blow your mind but keep your head bobbing to the beat. (It's brilliant really) My theory is rusty since doing lots of mushrooms in high-school but 🤷‍♂️ it's very similar similar how I play piano. I'd argue it's from "mastering" the song. Which is to say* when you've learned your progression and the ins and outs of* the song structure that you just start hitting the whole thing with everything you got tech wise. Scales flips stutters stacctos bends whammy harmonics etc. (Clearly I don't play guitar but hopefully this translates musically) and then record it all and pick and choose. Then see if you can replicate what you've created ooooooor Pick and choose what you like best and insert it in a re recording.

No they wrote it all on guitar pro more than likely then learned the songs after. Look up the program guitar pro. You can write every instrument and export midi. Tim uses midi heavily. Drums are clearly midi in the recording. Not saying the drummer cant play live because he clearly can.
@sydisticsandman
@sydisticsandman 2 жыл бұрын
@@Procedurallydegeneratedjohn perhaps but I've seen Tim do breakdowns of him writing hooks and songs so he can and does make his own shit on Guitar then tweak and mod in post. He Def writes the drums in midi and the drummer is fantastic for not only learning it but adding his own flair and thus some actual soul to the drums. But please feel free to link me some sources to your wild claim that they program it all then learn it because there are plenty of videos to support the opposite 😉

For your info. “Polyphia”, comes from the word, “Polyphony”, meaning: “music whose texture is defined by the interweaving of several melodic lines” Playing off this definition, as a band, we capitalize on musicianship, and that, musically, each member of the band is a cornerstone of our sound. Thanks for your attention. @Mike Shreds

They’re playing the vocals on the guitar. For instance the beginning guitar solo in God is not a guitar solo! It’s simulating a🔥azz rapper coming out hard AF and dropping the first verse! Their music is based on musicians writing ,composing and mixing all genres of music. Creating all the bass parts,vocal structures,guitar harmony’s ,hip hop rap and R&B vocals ,then playing them all at once, together on just a guitar done by one person ,or in this case ,individually buy each of the two guitar players. Polyphia simply mixes all genres of music ,their rock and rap harmonies and their vocal lyrics ,then all written,composed and played on a single guitar ,wether they’re live or in studio! It’s one man doing what a 5 piece band can barely all do together and it’s Ultra impressive to say least. Unequivocally this is next level complicated music with more emotion and structure than some give them credit for! The bottom line is It’s not just music but artistic writing and musical brilliance at some of it’s absolute finest and most genius! As a professional studio musician ,Drummer and lead guitarist I can say I both hear and feel the absolute magnificence of Polyphia! -Crisis
