Wage War never disappoints with breakdown riffs and chorus. They never mess around
@frozencinder30073 жыл бұрын
This honestly seems like a better progression then pressure, more technical and better lyrics, chorus and instrumental
@thyweebhub3 жыл бұрын
idk about chorus yet since we will have to see till the album releases, the choruses in Pressure where the main reason that album was so good, still think it’s their best work and people just mad it wasn’t as heavy
@notdavegrohl3 жыл бұрын
@@thyweebhub personally i think Deadweight was their best work, with it being a good mix of the heaviness from Blueprints but with the better choruses that came from Pressure
@maxkliegl20013 жыл бұрын
@@thyweebhub Not really. The choruses were really whiny and didn't have good melody on Pressure. On this track though, it sounds fantastic and feels clean.

@@notdavegrohl deadweight was okay but had more generic Metalcore, which I can’t blame cause they were just starting out and getting the hand of things as a band commercially and at that time cookie cutter metalcore was the thing but now listening back to that album it’s just okay, heavy af but okay. Pressure was change that I would say is their best change yet and they should run with it, not to say that this song or the last were bad cause they are amazing, I do respect your opinion though, just a difference in styles for us

This album has me thinking it’s gonna be a combo of “Pressure” and their other albums and make a godly album. If there was one thing I enjoyed about pressure was the catchy choruses, those songs but heavier would be godly. But this is all my opinion, unsure if others feel this way lol.
@iorwethlispuszczy55873 жыл бұрын
Honestly I missed out on Pressure, didn't find the right vibe on it, to I just continued to listen to the first two albums from time to time (I'm a more deathcore-death metal dude), though I think I'll get back to them. The first two albums were good due to awesome lyrics they had
@killer_greag35413 жыл бұрын
@@iorwethlispuszczy5587 oh for sure! They were amazing albums, but with this new approach of the mainstreamy choruses with the heavy vocals and instrumentals sounds like a very good choice from them.

It’s kind of funny how I was disappointed in pressure on its release, but over time it’s grown on me. I agree that if they can find a balance of progression as well as heavy, it will be a godlike album. If they learned from recent ADTR, progression is important (as well as having room for plenty of heavy)

The songs that hit on Pressure really hit. Low is one of my favorite songs by them because it combines their heavy side with their catchy choruses. It’s just too many of the songs on Pressure didn’t hit as hard as they could’ve in my opinion.
