I always feel that since "Hypa Hypa", Eskimo Callboy is like that introvert, low-key dude in the class who rarely speaks or perform academically but turns out stellar if given the opportunity. Maybe it's just me 😅.

Had to stop and think a long while at one point. And my conclusion is: Tiny pebble in the pond of metal music has made big changes all over. Babymetal. They showed up, and now metal has dancing, crazy musical combinations with other genres, and generally fun songs. That wasnt before, and if anyone can honestly argue about this, go ahead. Always enjoying your reactions, guys.

I would also argue that Maximum the Hormone had some crazy musical combinations before BabyMetal was born, but surely they didn't go international as BM did!

Many bands before babymetal has combined metal with others genres, there are even full genres that are combinations of metal with an other kind of music, like pagan metal or nu metal. And if you want some fun added to musical combinations, bands like bloodhound gang, Alestorm, Twelve foot ninja, etc. were here long before babymetal. Also, Electric Callboy is as old as babymetal, they both made their debut in 2010, so we can't even say that babymetal was an inspiration for them. Even more, like babymetal was formed in november 2010, i'm pretty much sure that Electric Callboy is older as their first EP was made in 2010 and the first release of babymetal was only in april 2011 ;)
