Always enjoy tagging along with you on your shopping trips Simon… the exercise does me good, lol. I’m sad to hear that ‘The Plague’ have called it a day… they were a great band. Good to see you sir🤘🏻

Hi Simon!!! Cool video and great finds too..... not bad adding an OG Slayer Ep to the collection and for a nice price, not bad at all. Great point(issue about record fairs and what you're getting in this type of events, it sucks not getting "cooler" stuff that most music fans are looking for.... cheers and be well

Good score on the Warhead cd - dontt have to tell u im a fan lol. Shame u didnt get into Cryo, i grew up in Fairfield which was one suburb next to LA Studios in wetherill park where they and other westy bands used to rehearse and i would drop in and be in awe of them so i guess im a bit biased. Anyway, good pick ups.
@ExplosiveActionАй бұрын
Haha cheers! Yeah their sound was too bouncy for me. PsiKore were another from the era like that, and of course Segression, they didn't really do it for me. I remember how big Cryogenic were getting though, were on Channel V and JJJ a lot

Nice shopping trip. Crimson is great. I didn't like Individual that much myself back when it came out, but picked up the remastered vinyl 6-7 years ago, and it sounds way better than the original cd. Not often that happens with remastered stuff, it was almost as discovering a new Death album. Cosmic Putrefaction is getting better for each release, a really well done album. Love Haunting The Chapel, very nice find there. Cheers. 🤘🤘

Im a huge King Diamond fan, probably my biggest collection along with Napalm Death and Carcass. We don't have any record shops near us, and charity shops are shite so it's all internet buying for me. I have always loved Edge of Sanity, and the side project Pan Thy Monium - Swano is a genius. I have that original cd of Slayer on Roadrunner - in fact my early ones are all on roadrunner, got em about 30 years ago lol
@ExplosiveActionАй бұрын
I'd say most of my earliest cds are roadrunner too! They were a great label for a while

Same here in Germania with the shops and record fairs, the only bring out new stuff and reissues. It´s a shame! 50 Aussie Dollars is not too bad for the Slayer EP, like you said, mandatory in the Slayer collection.
@ExplosiveActionАй бұрын
Yeah it was pretty reasonable, about 30 USD or EUR. Great condition too!
@NEILSINGH-mh3ubАй бұрын
most expensive SlayeR bootleg i got is DeaD and the Alive bootleg belgium festival 84' paid 3200 EUR each. DeaD was bought from england and Alive which is basically part 2 of the same concert was bought in Germany. i own all the old vinyl bootlegs and cd's of SlayeR have some record vinyls with bands autographs.
