An update! Hooray! And it cost me cash almost immediately. The very first movie. I still need to look into that zombie movie! Don't like to let any slip by if it can be avoided. lol Dawn of the Mummy was from Anchor Bay but only Anchor Bay UK! Probably why it got expensive. No problem anymore though! And to further echo some of the other comments... Don't leave the movie updates behind!

Hey Simon. That Aussie DVD cover for Trick or Treat is unforgivably Bad. The school on fire with a skull on top of it with Ozzy and Gene staring at camera. I got an ex-rental copy from Video 2000 about 11 years ago for $5, back when $5 was a great deal for an ex-rental DVD. I picked up the recent Imprint Blaxploitation boxset at JB sale. Two slave westerns with Fred Williamson, good stuff, all Blu-ray debuts.

I wish they kept it at 2 per customer. You always want the opportunity to buy one for a friend! Or even replace a copy that got lost or broken. The scalping is bad but I feel this limit doesn't take into account those that group orders together to save on shipping costs internationally.

man, I was getting worried that you woouldn't be doing the bluray videos anymore. I had such bad attitude towards the substance, I frankly, between you and me, thought its going to be the typical "diverse" woke feminist horror movie that you simply have to like, and if the movie is good I'll like it, regardless if the protagonist is a pink transgender from mars, but I don't like to be rammed down the throat certain movies. Well, I watched the substance and... WOW. its genuinely one of the best horror movies Ive ever seen, never been surprised so much on one movie. bonkers as hell, seems something an Italian filmmaker like fulci would make. It is a great movie and I hope its insane director wins the oscar

Hi Simon great video! Some excellent stuff there! Shame about the Arise Pic Disc but it will look great on the wall!!! Didn't know Orgasmatron was on the Pic Disc but I do have Under Siege on 12 Inch and Orgasmatron is on the B Side with Troops Of Doom!!! Also never got Bestial Devastation as it's own release but I do have the re release of Morbid Visions with Bestial Devastation as Bonus tracks on vinyl not as good as the OG but it will do fine for me!!!! Also will have to check my copy of Reign In Blood!!! Congrats on the Persecution Mania awesome Sodom LP!!!! Cheers!!!! Pete.

Took me a while to find an affordable Eternal Nightmare and my cover isn't in much better shape than yours, but it did it's job of protecting the record as it does sound fantastic. Awesome to grab a grail at a great price especially after that horror story. Some great finds in here Simon.

I have 4 copies left of the original Arise picture disc. I had 8 copies but gave some away as presents they have an $11 price tag on them, Beneath the remains will always be my favorite because that's when I discovered them.

Congrats on 'Persecution Mania'! That's a beautiful copy...I have the '88 US pressing with the standard Steamhammer center labels (blue on one side, green / tan on the other) instead of the Sodom logo. Such a great album; I put mine on last night after watching this...\m/

Eternal Nightmare is one of the biggest thrash grails I'm still after, and you're casually not calling it a grail. Fantastic catch on Persecution Mania man, also on my list but not as high as Eternal Nightmare! I'm happy with the first Sodom, haha.

I sometimes get shit from old guys that records are too expensive and Discogs is garbage (like that is my problem). I don't know it any other way than that the old stuff is expensive and hard to get. A lot of older guys are not willing to pay the prices like I do, just because they're from a time where those albums weren't that expensive, and refuse to pay the inflated prices. So long story short, I get it, hahaha. I am willing to pay a good amount for Eternal Nightmare!

Arise is basically death thrash, especially the vocals with the accent, sounds similar to death metal. I heard it for the first time in jr high art class on a boombox, saw that video soon after and I was sold.

I have all these records as OG vinyl as being an old bugger I was a teen in the 80's! I think my collection could be worth a little bit now!! I would never sell them though!! 😂 EDIT: My copy of Eternal NIghtmare is a special sick pack with canned soup in a plastic sleeve!! Long now evaporated!! 🤣😂

Thanks for sharing! I really haven't liked anything much after Roots (and I no longer own that, it was fine when I was 16 but hasn't held up). I like a few tracks from a couple of their very last albums that I saw videos of but really all that stuff in the middle was pretty poor.

What is your process for cleaning your LPs? What solution do you use? I see so much conflicting information on that here on youtube, I wouldn’t mind an answer from someone who actually listens to them lol

If you look at the video I did on "audiphile" habits (search it) I give a demonstration. Short version is a I use a locally produced spray called Wax Wash, the two excellent microfibre cloths from the otherwise shit Spinclean device (one cloth to wet, one to dry), put the record on a towel, protect the centre label by placing an old yoghurt container over it, spray, wipe, then dry. That's it!

'Results may vary' I like to decant the sump in to a clear glass to marvel at the amount of gunk swirling around. A simple pleasure lost on CD owners. They really have no idea what they are missing out on.

Nice haul sir! I´m in the lucky situation right now to get really good deals for OGs that are missing in the collection. I mostly do trades. I had "Persecution Mania" on black, white and the white lable testpress. I sold the white one for an ok priceyears ago and the testpress got to Japan for.... I can´t tell you here but it was almost a small used car worth of money. Good luck in the future, finding some grails!
