Metal Roof Edge Repair - Stop the Rust

Greetings from South Africa, love the videos, i have light superficial rust in most of the valleys of an IBR roof - any suggestions? roof is 70 years old and 100% waterproof, just looking at some preventative maintenance

Thanks to your videos I am now able to help my house painting customers when they can't get a roofer to come out for small patches. You didn't say anything about the exposed metal just beyond the Poly Seam Seal...won't it rust without some sort of coating? Can Poly seam seal be top coated with typical latex house paints, to provide the UV protection it needs? Thanks again and keep up the great vids! Residential Repair & Paint LLC, Central Florida

The "fleece" is a polyester fabric. It could be called a membrane.
