When you cut your viceclamps straight to the ram way as explaned an you put a workpiece on the bottum of the vice, you will cut a taper because your vice bottum is paralel with the tabel. (which is going down) So you had to put your workpiece allways in line with your planed viceclamps.

What you say is correct. I said in the video that you could remove a corner (both sides) from the machine clamp. That would then run parallel with the ram. Thanks for your responses. We kunnen ook verder in het Nederlands hoor maar dat had je wel begrepen denk ik. ik heb onlangs ook een Hembrug Schaafbankje op de kop getikt en hier en daar gerepareerd, niet zo veel als jij hebt moeten doen maar toch best wel aardig werk aan gehad. Hij werkt weer prima. Ik heb er een met de originele basis onderkant waarin de motor is bevestigd. Ik kan je wel wat foto's toesturen als je geintereseerd bent. Groet huib@@DoMetalStuff

@@huibhoogendoorn503 Hey Huib. Klopt het was de naam die erg Nederlands klinkt. En welkom bij mijn youtube kanaal. Je mag mij mailen ([e-mail]). Ik vind het niet erg om af en toe Nederlands te doen maar omdat ik behoorlijk wat internationale kijkers heb is het toch engels wat ik het meest gebruik. Maar mail gerust en ben zeker benieuwd naar hoe het origineel is👍
