⚡ 💕 / 🌟 ✨ BABYMETAL have used 'Arkadia' both as an opening song and as a closer. It was part of a beautiful two song encore in October 2019 at the LA Forum of 'Shine' and 'Arkadia'. That was the first time either had been played outside of Japan. 'Starlight' was performed earlier in the show. The last time they had done an encore before this one, was when I saw them at the 2017 Palladium show in LA. What's a little sad is that some folks had already left the Forum after 'Road of Resistance', and the "We are… BABYMETAL!" call and response, since "they never do encores". Although the studio musicians on BABYMETAL tracks are often uncredited, Kami Band member Leda Cygnus played guitars and bass on the 'Arkadia' studio track. He also did the score for the song in 'Young Guitar' magazine.

Great reaction, thanks! "Arkadia" is one of my favorite songs and it's so cool to see their progression on their power metal since that first "Ijime, Dame Zettai" which debuted in July 2011. Actually, this is totally my thing: crazy drumming, fast tempo, nice melodies and bright positive uplifting lyrics. Not to mention Su's magnificent vocals and a great choreo. Faster than light, stronger than steel, without fear on the path of mission, even if a certain amount of darkness covers up, let’s go through what we believed was the right path. - Arkadia -

Babymetal won't stop making music. They always have lots of Lore so sometimes their messaging confuses people. Most people figure they will not tour for awhile for obvious reasons but will be working behind the scenes writing new songs or maybe taking a vacation. They'll be back. Arkadia is the last part of 3 songs known as the 'Trilogy of Light'. The songs, in order, are Starlight, Shine, and Arkadia. They are considered by most fans as tributes to their guitarist Mikio Fujioka who died from a fall back in very early 2018. Also perhaps a tribute to Yui who left the band in 2018 for undisclosed health reasons. There is no official indication that is true but they make really good tributes none the less. Starlight is basically about loss and grief, Shine is about coming to terms with it, and Arkadia is about moving on. I would recommend the other two songs since they are incredibly good songs. Shine is full of emotion and is beautifully sung by Su. It's a masterpiece imo

Great reaction & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This is one of 9 songs in the 3rd album they did not performed in 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN Concerts. (Others are : Future Metal, Da Da Dance, Shine, Elevator Girl, Night Night Burn, Shantix3, Kagerou and BBAB). It seems to me they intentionally saved these songs for concerts in the future. In any case, BM cannot initiate world tour in the COVID situation for months. They have managed to complete 10 big shows that must have been more strenuous than ever under the circumstances. In addition, the hiatus announcement is Koba's cliché. We all know that. The Doomsday or the Apocalypse or something like end of the world comes once a year or tow to BABYMETAL 😄 。

This is how Babymetal closed their 3rd album and their biggest show in the US ever, at The Forum near LA (which is a venue of Madison Square Garden). Not a bad choice for the show which accompanies the release of the album. :-)

BABYMETAL's songs always blow me away with their live videos. At first, I did not so hook this song in the album version. "Brand New Day" too. The IDZ live video from the Budokan, which was recently released by the official, is also very good. BABYMETAL is truly amazing. Btw, now it is August 30 morning in Japan. Yesterday, Sakura Gakuin did their last live in Tokyo. They are the mother idol group of BABYMETAL. They will be over at August 31. It is sorry. From Japan.

You should do the "Trilogy Of Lights" starting with "Starlight", " Shine" & "Arkadia". After this react to "Starlight" then "Shine". Arkadia is a very sad song by BABYMETAL with a tempo of 100 BPM. It can also be used double-time at 200 BPM. The track runs 5 minutes and 19 seconds long with a C♯/D♭ key and a major mode. It has high energy and is not very danceable with a time signature of 4 beats per bar. "Road Of Resistance" is a battle cry and ready for war but "Arkadia" is a more of a victory after a long battle and looking forward to a better future. BABYMETAL is relentless and you have to give respect to Metal drummers for the stamina and endurance given by them in every concert. Part of the unofficial trilogy of lights, a set of songs fans dedicated to Mikio passed away (Kami Band guitarrist legend), and YuiMetal withdrawal. Songs are: _Starlight, Shine, Arkadia_ _Arkadia_ is an underrated song and many fans don't really feel it, perhaps many of them are not really into power/speed metal songs and they might think Road Of Resistance or Ijime Dame Zettai are enough to dig it, anyway i don't care, i like it. Song was used as an ender, but sometimes it was used as an opener like in the "The Sun Also Rises" live concert in which they introduced the avengers system, in that case with beautiful KanoMetal performing at such young age and syncing so well with MoaMetal. Like i said, for some fans this is the song dedicated to YuiMetal, _"Now, for you dream, for your faith, for your life", "No more tears, no more pain, no more cry"_ i can see many parts of this lyrics can be dedicated to YuiMetal and her happiness after all. Don't forget Metal Galaxy is a concept album, despite what we said about the songs, especially the trilogy, you need to experience for your own, it depends on your mood and state of mind to really appreciated all this songs, some probably you will like more than another and that's fine, but all are intended to give you emotions and express feelings, even SuMetal said to us that and she even remember and feel different things when singing these songs. They performed the full Trilogy Of Light live at The Forum in Los Angeles 11/10/2019 they end up the concert with Shine and Arkadia. They did this several times in more concerts before. This live comp contains clips from that, SuMetal shout "Forum" at the end. The avengers here are: Kano Fujihira and Riho Sayashi, Riho released recently a new jpop album, she's talented and a extraordinary dancer and singer. @@jakemuller8626 I saw a video I think from Amuse that had the stair way of light showing a lot more light. I don’t know Japanese as it was all in Japanese but apparently the speculation is the seal will be broken soon. For some reason April was being thrown around. But always keep the faith man!

Great reaction man! This is one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs! Its the third song in a trio of songs called the trilogy of lights. Nice reaction. How to make your drummer tired. Easy make them play a Babymetal song like this one. Some bands want more cowbells. Babymetal wants more of double bass and what ever else the drummer got. Energy galore and that was at the end of the show. Babymetal's website says something about "Legend= Live". So the have "Stairway To Living Legend" coming soon. Sounds like a live tour tittle to me. I hope it is.

Great video, my man! I really appreciate your energy. Thanks for reacting to Arkadia because not a lot of people do. I love this song so damn much! My second fave on Metal Galaxy. (Narrowly beaten out by PA PA YA!) It has some of the most beautiful and uplifting lyrics of any of their works. It's all about staying strong through hardship and chasing your dreams. It's such an inspirational anthem, up there with Road of Resistance for me. Their messages have been obscure, for sure. The way I'm reading them is that they are closing the Metal Resistance era in October after the year long promotion period of their 10 Babymetal Best album. The seal that they are referring to is on the previous era. References to going away are to the younger version of themselves during the previous era. That may imply a new look to their act or perhaps "sealing" their older music. They've been inactive since April, so an announcement to tell us that they are going to be inactive is a bit odd. Instead, I expect the start of the new era lore in October at least, if not new music. Anyway, don't ever assume you understand Koba's messages. I know I don't.

A curiosity. Japanese people can't pronounce Baby. For Japanese people, "baby" and "heavy" have the same pronunciation. So "heavy metal" and "baby metal" confuse us. The exact difference is that the Japanese pronunciations of the vowels in "be" and "he" are the same, and the "e" in "he"and "Be" is pronounced the same. Pronounced Japanese has only five vowels. Seems like the musicians are not the originals. It's seems like all the musician are all new. Just look at their arms, those arms doesn't look like an arm of an Asian's arms. I've been watching them for years and I'm pretty sure they're not the originals... All musicians are replaceable that's why they're all covered up.
