Metal Slug 4: Mission 2

Difficulty: Level-8. No cheats used.
So someone thought it to be a good idea to make enemy soldiers randomly die while piloting their mechas, and conveniently pop open the hatch while doing so. And then your character can hop into said mechas, magically spawn the Metal Slug's 12.7mm Vulcan Cannons that the enemies for some reason wasn't using, and SURPRISE, you can jump with a Bradley!
And then you go on a high speed trucking section with, SURPRISE, repetitive enemies, and Enemy Chasers that won't home in onto enemy missiles!
Also, you can see the spent shell of a pistol bullet fly over Marco's head when he idles with his 2H after firing/ throwing a grenade... how any spriter could overlook that is beyond me.
And of course the terrible boss design. Looks like Sardine Cans stacked together. The hell is it even supposed to be/ do?
I wonder if anyone in the development team had a seizure or bluescreened their brains when they saw how much effort was put into the Metal Slug tank.

Mission 2 boss can be ridiculously hard on your first run. But if you know the drill it just becomes a button mashing chore.

0:22 I wonder why the Morden soldiers never bother using that vulcan on their vehicles. It's a much more effective weapon and would be very hard to get perfect runs if they all use it.

I love the music, but the stage itself is mostly copied sprites from Metal Slug 1's fourth and fifth mission. It repeats previous concepts but fails to improve on them, feeling like a cheap "free-trial" version of the real things in the first game. Such wasted potential for what could have been a great game.

Taller than Charizard Metal Slug 4 has the most bugs, lag and glitches. It has terrible enemy placement and mostly every sprite from past Metal Slugs are reused but the soundtracks, Trevor and Nadia are obvious easy remakes of Tarma and Eri, Bosses are easy to distinguish of what boss it was copied off of, and not to mention how ridicoulously hard it is, i mean i like hard metal slug challenges, but MS4 overdoes it. MS4 isn’t a terrible game but its not great either. Just decent at best, i prefer MS5 over it honestly.
